Just think some balance is due in the discussion. I do feel like the majority of the members of the current board are paying the price for decisions of previous ones. Its not exactly like we've not been batting relegation (not forgetting that we we're technically once) for the majority of our time in the NL. I think the difference this time, is that people realise we can't compete n this league, for the first time,instead of having the blinkered "but we're an ex league club" view.

I think it's more to do with having one there in the first place and making that work. Imagine for example, the Bignot Budget Builder being managed by a dedicated fundraising team instead of putting the workload on already overworked staff and volunteers.
I was asked previously if I would have liked to have been a part of the group but couldn't commit to the time. I still used to help bounce some ideas off a good friend who was part of the committee however and there are numerous initiatives I feel we should be looking at launching ASAP, such as the "An Evening With.." nights at the club working alongside the FPA. Such as the Budget Builders or Club Raffles or End of Season Awards night that we used to have at thee Racecourse along with auctions for club memorabilia etc.
They were all part of what gave it that community feel in the early days.
