I've also moved across, gone for a new username as well as I think there was another Australian Blue round her somewhere.
Will have to try and post more on the new board, really only been reading off the old one for the last few years of a morning at work haha

Tried to sign up to the existing Devachat for such a long time, so it's great to be able to contribute.
There are those I agree with and there are those I largely disagree with, but it will be great to chat / debate with fellow blues, whatever their viewpoint.

Sorry forgot to add its been suspended till the year 275,807... I had something similar from Canadian exile for saying John danby was a liability and was glad Burr was getting rid. (No swearing or anything else wrong) apparently comments like that weren't wanted. |

So, while it takes many folks around 12 months to get "approval to post" and get registered on Deva Chat Mk1, a quick two minute sign up here and you are free to go. Much better. Sure, the layout of this new forum isn't as pleasing on the eye (but as a free forum, you come to expect that!) but there genuinely seems to be a positive vibe around the place. Please, please, please though, none of this total crackdown on posts that we saw over on "old" Deva Chat! That's what brought that site to it's knees. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and should (within reason) be allowed to voice that opinion. Couldn't agree more. I intend to let this forum flow and the only times posts will get removed is if they are abusive. In theory it will work, but it has to be moderated. I know you're going to moderate, but maybe look into 3MM or someone respected from previous DC to help out if it gets busy. Some post's i've seen are a bit odd.. |

If/when moderating is required then I'm sure BigSi will take a level headed approach. As well as 3MM was respected by the old board and it's members I think it's time to move on with a completely new, relaxed and respectful approach to moderation. I know Big Si fairly well enough to assure you all that this board is in very good hands.

That's the problem with enabling guests but I'd like to think the benefits of welcoming other fans to post will outweigh the one looking to stir, and I imagine most people are wise enough to know when there is a rogue Goat on the wind up. I generally tend to look at other teams forums after we play them as I'm interested in what they make of us as a team, but I never post as I can't be arsed having to register, so I'm interested to see how this board pans out with guests again. Hopefully as more guests visit and see that the forum is alive with good discussions then they might want to register anyway. I'm a 'goat'. Could never get on the old site but took the opportunity to join this one. I also like to look at other teams sites and despite our rivalry our clubs have more similarities than differences. It's your board and I would never come to intentionally derail discussions or wind people up. Looking forward to some good discussions in the future. All the best with your new board. |

Hello every one
Firstly let me be honest I am a Wrexham fan and have been for far too long. I have not missed a home game in four years. However may I now say in the same period I have only missed 3 Chester home games. I enjoy coming to your ground as it makes me remember what it's like to get close up and personal to the viewing of the game. Your facilities are of a good standard as is your playing surface.
I did think this year you may struggle with our ex players on board. You have however done very well and I have been very impressed with your playing ability with a small squad.
It is very pleasant to be able to converse with you all and I wish you well for the remainder of season. Without wishing to be ripped apart by criticism etc in good humour I predict that we just finish above you but only by a few points. Any one disagree

Got banned until 2047 for speaking my mind when the debacle over Bear was going on. The site was great when our club reformed but got very bitter during the Tony Durkin era and although I've been to the games and had a number of other personas I haven't bothered posting under their accounts. Shame about the old DC, but onwards and upwards!
