Noticed on a couple of threads I've opened that the first post I've got showing in the thread is obviously a reply to an earlier post that is no longer visible??
Don't know if it's only happening to me or there's an issue with the board??
The John Rooney thread for example.

I've just noticed that on the other side having not had any new members since December 2015(!), which was one of the two mains reasons behind this forum, that there have now been 32 new members approved in the past couple of days. Someone at least has woken up - but is it too little too late?

Approved December 2015 Ah yes, my bad, there are a lot of people that have tried to join so their names show up on the DC member's list, but what I didn't notice is that they all have 'validating' next to them. The last person that was validated and actually allowed to join DC was in Dec 2015. As you were! |

The strangest thing is Krankie still logs in and lurks but doesn't seem to approve new members or post himself. He seems to have given up. As for Devachat himself, who lives in Japan, he hasn't been seen in a decade.

That's the problem with enabling guests but I'd like to think the benefits of welcoming other fans to post will outweigh the one looking to stir, and I imagine most people are wise enough to know when there is a rogue Goat on the wind up. I generally tend to look at other teams forums after we play them as I'm interested in what they make of us as a team, but I never post as I can't be arsed having to register, so I'm interested to see how this board pans out with guests again. Hopefully as more guests visit and see that the forum is alive with good discussions then they might want to register anyway. I'm a 'goat'. Could never get on the old site but took the opportunity to join this one. I also like to look at other teams sites and despite our rivalry our clubs have more similarities than differences. It's your board and I would never come to intentionally derail discussions or wind people up. Looking forward to some good discussions in the future. All the best with your new board. Hi English Red, I've seen your posts on OneFootballForum and you seem a decent enough poster. I've got a good feeling about this site. I'm banned on Deva Chat for I know not what and had decided that I had posted my last, so this site is like a breath of fresh air to me. |

After years of reading the threads on the other Chester FC chat forum, I thought I'd sign up for this new one.
Now that I've done that, I'll probably only post about twice a year, but thought I'd just say hi for now! Do you only post a couple of times because you got banned by the Devon blue / Canadian exile axis of evil? Haha. welcome here my friend. |

Would've been funnier if it was because of being banned, however it was mainly due to not having much to say really. Plus it can be quite amusing just reading some of things people used to post
