According to undercover Chester on Twitter: As well as discussions with Hudson & George, the Blues have offered improved deals to Tom Shaw & Wade Joyce with positive talks #contracts Club captain Luke George and Saturday's goal scorer Blaine Hudson are the first to negotiate staying with the Blues #contracts #ChesterFC I'd keep Tom Shaw but let the other 3 go.

Surely Macca knows that Wade Joyce isn't good enough.

Not sure what we are paying him but I don't think he's done anything to warrant a wage increase. I think he can do a job coming on when we are 2-0 up seeing out the game but doesn't seem to offer too much else.

That twitter is a bulls hit page that makes things up, but if we do resign George, Hudson and Joyce I can see season ticket sales being down again.

I thought the same about Undercover Chester but after looking at his page I don't think it is all bulls hitting or guesswork and it seems to me that he has some insight into the club.

No, it really is a load of bollocks. He posts about 100 rumors a window and about 10% of them a right, mostly the one's the the chronicle has already hinted at, or already rumored elsewhere. There's not a possible chance we've offered Joyce an improved deal, of that i'm sure.

Boreham Wood are rumoured to be close to finalising a deal with Arsenal which would see both AFC's development squad and Arsenal Ladies continue to play matches at Meadow Park until 2027. The club are said to be planning to replace the current pitch with a 'desso' grass/fibre pitch similar to the pitches AFC use at the Emirates and their training grounds. As if to prove money is not a problem, BWFC have launched a limited early, early bird season ticket offer of £100 for an adult ST. Originally limited to the first 100 applicants, the offer has now been extended to the first 200.

O'Brien has played 2 behind closed doors games for Chester one against Wigan last week in which he scored, and one today in which he scored again, so why isn't he near the squad? with 2 goals in 2 matches, no matter the standard, he's scoring goals should at least deserve a spot on the bench instead of an injured Mahon

No-one can just waltz into the team it seems, you have to earn your place, that seems to be macca's philosophy.

Eastleigh winger Mekhi Leacock-McLeod has joined Billericay. The Ryman Premier league outfit are rumoured to be close to agreeing terms with one time England defender Paul Konchesky, who currently plays for Gillingham. Billericay are owned by Glenn Tamplin who spent most of 2016 in a failed attempt to take control of Dagenham - in late 2016 a majority of shareholders indicated they would block any attempt by the board to accept his bid - a month later he was the owner of Billericay FC. Tamplin has set a target of a promotion every two seasons until the club reaches the FL. He claims to be injecting around £10,000 per week into the club this season and has 'big' plans for the football club in the future.

Certainly investing in the southern teams is the way to go in order to progress up the pyramid. looking at conference north with all the 'proper' clubs with actual fanbases, in comparison to the dross in conference south.
