Given there are fans, including myself, who are confused about the time and nature of tonight's podcast, can someone clarify. Is it live? Or pre recorded? What platform is it on? And if live, what time? Thanks

Dave Powell at the Chronicle has said that it will be pre-recorded, starting @ 19:30, and will then be available shortly after on the Chronicle website.

Gotcha, cheers. Any reason they didn't do it live? Because this is Dave's weekly podcast of The True Blue. It is prerecorded with special guests each week like Cal Mac and other journalists. Then made available to listen to online.

Meant to be 40 mins and as I predicted it has run over.
Just the extra hour!
Some sh*t went down then 😳
Dave also says as a spoiler the board have apologised for the handlings of Marcus’ sacking.

For anyone not listening so far, the impact from the commercial mismanagement of the Club over the last 12 months including the "performance" of Mark Maguire on the oringal budget is jaw-dropping. Neil Turner - "Commercially the CFU run Club is "light years behind clubs at this level" The Board members present did not disagree .

Just to add, the utterances of Calvin Hughes confirmed that the manner of the sacking of MB was disrespectful and a disgrace . Confirmed it did occur after tapping on MBs car window in the County Officers car park. Jeff Banks tries to rescue matters and a belated apology from David HW "if" we got it wrong !

My initial impression of the first hour of the podcast is that Neil Turner is no supporter of fan ownership. Talks about Macc having just one owner and about to be promoted -ffs even the most junior reporter would know that Amar Alkadhi wasn't the best example of the the single owner model.

As a supporter of fan ownership , like myself , you still have accept to legitimate criticism of the running of the Club. Quite frankly the points Neil Turner have raised, and some of the answers received, prove that the Club is not being run in a professional and acceptable commercial manner in critical areas.

What I don't have to accept are inane, poorly researched soundbites. As an advocate of co-ownership I have deep misgivings in regard to the way CFC is currently being run, hopefully these fears may be assuaged in the next hour of the podcast, if so no thanks to messrs Turner and co

Just finished it, my initial thoughts:
- Neil Turner was quite scattergun in his approach and the whole interview would have benefited by sticking to topics and working through them. (Also, the comparison with Macc is ridiculous - Guiseley, Barrow, and Torquay are all privately owned and nearly down, as are numerous other clubs in the Football League.) - Some of the answers from the board showed that there needs to be serious work done on the commercial and football sides. They also seem to be quite aware of this. - Mark Maguire did a really shit job. - The manner in which Bignot was sacked was appalling. - The whole resignation business seemed to take the board genuinely by surprise, and they seem really gutted about Neil Young going. - The board are working very hard, but are limited in terms of skill set - they really want more fan engagement.
Overall it was ok. It's cleared a few things up for me at least.
