That's why you're probably not a multi-millionaire mate. Aha! First time i've been a victim of some of the ruder posts on here. Congratulations. I might not have millions but I am responsible for a budget of around £13m a year. My point (which I will give you the benefit you might have misunderstood) was that in Capex terms I hadn't even heard rumours of projects that would "pay back £2 for every £1 invested". As one of the owners of the club I think that's a fair observation. I will be delighted to hear how the money is going to be spent and will be 100% behind the developments. I just don't know what they are yet (apart from downpipes!) Do you hate accountants? Not intended to be rude. How did I know you were an accountant?

I saw something about LK on your profile...

Sounds promising and the future does look very bright, the only problem is the fans want it all now now now.. It's coming up to nearly a year when the problems were starting to rumor around, we are extremely lucky to be in the position we are in right now even if getting beat by an orangutan who lives in a hotel.
Looking forward to seeing what the plans are.

Classroom facilities for the scholars and community trust for their continued work in the community with groups who need support would be a start incorporated into a massive redesign of the mainstand facilities. Bigger all purpose sports bar, shop, ticket office offices hospitality, lift to first floor and access to disabled viewing at back of main stand (best view in the house) and if Stuart decides he wants to help us out even further I'd ask him to help invest a sum on helping us with some proper matchday pitch viewing boxes or at least one box for renting out. Could make us some serious £££ if infrastructure is right (as in people)

i think having a larger bar / social area is an absolute must and would bring in so much more revenue on match days especially as there are not many pubs within the vicinity of the ground. I live in Altrincham and my lads ball boy for them quite a bit now. The dads go down early and make a day of it with a few beers in their large bar / community sports hall area whilst watching the sports on the numerous screens within . They host children parties, beer festivals in there and have lots of corporate events as well as screening boxing / football. We will go down and spend a few hours in there and spend quite a bit I guess. I know that due to the location people aren't just going to pop down for a drink , but it would attract a lot of people that would just pop in for a beer / brew / some food. At Alty, the players (from both teams) go in afterwards and the kids think its great as they get to see the players and get an autograph / photo. Its quite a money maker for them.

If the Blues Bar is extended it would be a must for me that is opens during weekdays as a cafe, run by paid staff doing breakfasts, sandwiches, brews and drinks til 2pm. There is no longer anywhere on that estate for this, and with the growth on the estate (council depot currently being replaced) it seems there is a ready made, growing customer base for it. From that will come corporate hire of LL and even boardroom for business meetings etc. I really think there are benefits in rebuilding the pitch viewing boxes in the West Stand (the Curtis Warren suite) to enable weekday classroom / meeting room hire and community use, as well as corporate matchday hire. We really need to increase the usage of the ground (and our ability to generate income from it) from the current 1 or 2 days a fortnight, 9 months of the year. I think this is something that our investor is keen on. Exciting times.

Fantastic idea for the cafe at the ground during the week Mark !
It could potentially run from an extended blues bar or even a purpose built area at the back of the Harry Mac ? (Depending on cost)
- Then come the weekend it can be changed around for match days (Fanzone - Bar/Food area)
Other ideas in the longer term.....
Community Base Area:
- Community Grass Pitches for hire over Saturday/Sundays - Changing room facilities - Bar Area (Regular income from local sides wanting to use pitches)
Little bit different:
- Outdoor Boot Camp fitness areas that run every weekend or every other weekend. - Community Gym - (9.99 for cfu members - 12.99 non-cfu members)
Trying to bring in non-Chester fans or even non-football fans should be a target for us long term.
