currently 11th with 46 points in the bag, think were very fortuanate to already have these as were a poor team in a poor league, realistically see us ending the season 16th/17th with around 54 points, what do people think?

I dunno, I think we're where we deserve to be. It's easy to think we're a poor side because we've not won many of late, but nobody thought we were poor when we kept seven clean sheets in a row.
We're letting in silly goals and need to be more imposing at home, but no reason why we can't finish in the top half of we can sort these problems out.

By no means we're a poor side. Well probably finish 11th with 64 points.

Beginning to hate Devachat. Infested with pessimistic idiots who seem to think we're a Sunday league team who should be relegated. Just shut up.
I've seen enough of us this season to say we will finish mid-table. Oh wait we're on a bad run, that means we will permanently be bad now?

Win our 2 games in hand and we'll be on 52 points and above the goats and if we are in that position at the end of the season I will be one happy chappy

We have had a good season, plenty of ups and plenty of downs. We have seen Macca get a young part time threadbare squad and make them a threat, granted the 2017 form has been poor but some of the results have been superb over the season. I for one think this has been a season of success. Too many idiots who you didn't hear 2 peeps from during the run of 1 loss in 18 earlier and consecutive clean sheets (must of been pure luck) but as usual when the team are going through a poor patch, quick to pipe up. Get behind the team! I think a top half finish is very much a possibility and that is a great outcome from the season and a real step forward.

I said 17th at the start of the season and I think that will be spot on.
3 pts from last 18 on offer. 54 pts about right.

Even bottom 4 Woking have won the last 6 games against us.

Unbelievable how despairing some of our fans are. We were flirting with the play-offs not so long ago and still we are in a healthy position, yet the moaners still linger. Just have some optimism for once and have a think of how well we have been competing in this league. I'm really proud of what we have achieved this season and I'm sure others are, but I hate reading the same old rubbish from the same old posters who must love us underachieving. This is a club who have punched above their weights this season, and we all should be proud.

Let's get one thing straight this is a bloody tough league full of mercenary players (FGR, Eastleigh and Barrow full of them) and sugar daddies. I think we are in our natural position in the league and had we had a decent cup run (sounding like Bob Gray and his tan brown loafers) it would've been a very successful season.
There is a lot to build on and with exciting young players like Lynch, Astles, Dawson and Alabi, next season could be even better!

We're an ex league club playing in a pi##poor league on gates of 2000 plus, we should be in the top ten of this league all day long with ease, and again we will finish bottom half this season, it's no wonder people are sick of watching us

I think you will finish around 14 ish and wrexham will finish around 10th . You had a great start to the season and we've had a middling middle if that's a word . So we are all safe and the fun starts again next season . Considering you only got in the league because of Herefords demise you have played out of your skin and should be very proud of what your club have achieved .. Keep it up and I. Look foreword to beating you for years to come (joke) good luck

I've seen enough of us this season to say we will finish mid-table. Oh wait we're on a bad run, that means we will permanently be bad now? I’m getting increasingly tired of it myself, the amount of times I check in here and think people are completely overreacting and being more negative than necessary is quite silly really. For some reason some people seem to think that whenever we win a game we are lucky, I genuinely don’t understand it at all. Also, I’ve not posted in it but I’ve absolutely cringed my arse off at some of the replies to the 3G Training facility thread. Likewise there’s a guest poster in the improve the atmosphere in the Harry Mac thread who has churned out some of the most embarrassing posts I’ve ever seen. Back to on the pitch, this rearranged Lincoln game is probably going to end up being the only game I’ll miss this season and they are the only team I’d actually fear a bit. The rest are a much of a muchness in my opinion. Tranmere have improved quite a lot in recent months in fairness since we played them earlier in the season. Forest Green aren’t’ as good as we’ve made them look and Dagenham have looked like complete amateurs in our two games against them. We are where we are in the league and deserve to be there, we’re not fortunate in the slightest. There’s been a few games this season where we‘ve been a bit fortunate to get points from and there’s games where we should have got more from, it’s balanced itself out. For example, god knows how we didn’t beat York away but equally I’m not sure how we somehow got the better of Torquay at home.

I don't believed we have over achieved at all, where you finish in the league is usually were you deserve to finish over 42 games. My biggest concern is that in the last 11 games we have only won 2 and drawn 1 and if as expected we lose Alabi and Hughes then we need to make sure our squad is stronger next season as I believe the clubs coming up will be much stronger than the clubs going down, making the league more difficult. If this form was to continue then next season we could have a lot of difficulties.

The league table never lies and where we end up at the end of the season is a true reflection of where we deserve to be over the season. The talk of us being a dreadful side is just nonsense in my eyes - we have had a lot of positive comments from opposition fans and we went 10 games without conceding a goal. Yes our form has been a bit up and down but it's indicitive of exactly what we are....a mid table team. Some players have come on leaps and bounds, others not so.....thats football.

We are having a steady season and have managed to establish ourselves in this league despite operating on meagre resources compared to most other clubs ! I think the constant injury list has contributed to our downturn in form since Christmas. John McCarthy has done a good job so far , we may have been fortunate in a few games but not over 35 games ! Are people forgetting easily beating Dagenham, Dover , Sutton etc ?

They hadn't paid bills, had signed players and managers they couldn't afford, and had run up £1.3m in debt. All this to finish marginally ahead of us, a club who had cut our cloth accordingly, on goal difference. We were pretty rubbish that season and it wasn't the best way to stay up, but had Hereford played by the rules I think it's fair to say we would've finished above them. We stayed up on merit that season in my opinion.
