We've had a long break from action and will be raring to go and respond to the late defeat to Tranmere with 3 points. Shaw likely to be back in contention.
Let us know your predictions below!
I predict;
Chester 2-1 Eastleigh (Alabi, Lloyd) - attendance 1892 (53 away)

Despite all the money Eastleigh have spent this year they are in shocking form, their league record in 2017 is P11 W1 D4 L6 although they did beat Barrow last time out. We had a superb win there earlier on this season and I think we'll win 2-0, with Alabi scoring both and 1628(44 away) in attendance.

Isn't Richard Hill back in temporary charge, the man they sacked earlier in the season, and now probably realised they'd dropped an enormous clanger in doing so.
Much more difficult task for us than the away game.

I know they've had 3 managers since they sacked him and none have lasted 5 miniutes.

Comfortable 3 - 0 nil win with 2012 in attendance.
What wont happen is that Eastleigh fan who stands at the front of the West stand trying to goad the Chester fans will get kicked out. He's acted the fool for the past two years and not once been asked to leave. Maybe the stewards can do something about this??

On a side note, please keep the donations flowing in this crowdfunder; we've got some seriously good ideas, some of which will include getting mascots involved, team of the week providing a guard of honour as the players come out etc, please do consider pledging. Thank you ⚽️⚽️⚽️ www.crowdfunder.co.uk/chester-fc-displays

We need a win, it's the sort of game we have to win, but can see it being a draw. Over on the (Not so) Super 6 thread I've predicted a 2-2 draw. Sticking with gut instinct on this thread too. COYB!!!!

I actually don't think we've won at home all year (last time we won was Aldershot correct me if I'm wrong) so you would think that 3 points should be on the cards soon. I;m going for a 2-1 victory to the blues but they will need to put a shift in today. Richards in particular should play I think as he has the pace and potential to cause problems. Hopefully he might actually work hard.
And I'll be really hacked off if Sam Hughes starts at right back.

Wish I shared your confidence that he has the potential to cause them problems, he hasn't caused many for the opposition so far this season.

I'm not at all confident the had the right attitude to actually do it. Usually he seems to just strop about losing the ball. However he should play today ad we need 2 up front and have no other options.

Just looking at the team sheet. Not sure why Hudson is starting ahead of Horwood? It should be 4 at the back with Vassell Hughes Astles and Hunt with Horwood on the left midfield rather than the bench and try to stick with a formula that this year hasnt worked yet.
But as always fingers crossed and hope it works as there is a first time for everything. Come on the blues !
