Think we'll all agree that he's more active on Twitter than some would like, but it's the 21st century, he can do whatever he wants on social media aslong as he's doing his job as manager first, which he is.

Not a transfer as such, but just read on another forum that that Bury FC have been accepted into the North West Counties League One (Step 6) next season, subject to them not being bought.

Very surprised they are having to start from 10th tier. Thought they would go in higher. Are they using Gigg Lane?

We challenged their ruling, and got moved up from NW Counties 2 to Evostik 2. Think they reworded their rules following that.

Isle of Man FC in and also 11 other teams have applications in so some of the perennial strugglers might go.

Anyone hazard a guess as to where this twitter page "Non league tittle tattle" might get his info from? Got yet another one correct in Adam Buxton going to York, and he predicted it 5 days in advance.

Guiseley's leading goalscorer Aaron Martin, has signed for Harrogate for an undisclosed five figure fee. Great bit of business by Guiseley, offloading a substantial wage when no football is being played, and a five figure fee as a bonus!

Don’t think so at the moment . If you recall the season Sutton did well and had the cup run with Arsenal they were debating if they would dig up Their plastic pitch to Meet EFL requirements

Harrogate RA are the club with the daftest slope on a pitch we've probably ever played on.

Harrogate RA have now dropped to Step 6. The crowd when we visited was probably one of their biggest crowds ever. Didn't we get a penalty there after not getting one for about 3 months?

We didn't get a penalty, it was also only six weeks in to the season. We did concede a penalty on that day though.

If its the place I'm thinking of there was a great little clubhouse at the other side of the cricket pitch there? We won well too if I remember right?

I knew there was a 'penalty' incident. Just had a look and Michael Wilde sored a hat-trick in a 4-1 win.

That must be most of the squad. Sadly, right through the leagues, there is going to be an almighty cull. With all the uncertainty it is utter madness to offer ANY new deals. It will be the same everywhere - release all the out of contract players and tell those who would have been offered deals to come back when it's all over and see how the land lies. It's all about survival. When football re-starts I think there will be no shortage of available players, so clubs might as well do their shopping at the last minute. Neil Young managed it OK when we reformed. A few familiar faces in that list from Solihull....Darren Carter is a 6ft 2ins tall midfielder, but see he is 36 now. Danny Wright also useful, but 35 now and see on Wikipedia that he named his son Ronny 9 after his shirt number. That rules him out for me. Anyway, just off to put my lad Davey Hand Wash Only to bed.

Southport sign Chorley forward Marcus Carver and Boston United defender Matt Challoner. Challoner failed to make an appearance since signing for Boston in early March, although he was expected to feature against Chester only for the match to be postponed, this was then followed by the suspension of the league. In theory he could still make his debut for Boston, as the season hasn't officially ended they still hold his registration. If the playoffs were to go ahead he would be eligible to play, although whether he would be willing to risk suffering a potential injury playing for a club he wont be at next season, might be open to doubt.

This just isn’t right, but I can imagine this situation will be much worse if players for play-off rivals already have agreements to sign for rival clubs before they could potentially play each other!

The whole play off thing is a farce. Already seeing players in the football league who say they won't take part in matches, because they don't want to get injured and risk moves away that have been agreed already. Others who were on loan saying they won't play either. For argument's sake let's say one of our out of contract players has his eye on a move to a national league or L2 club. Maybe a deal has already been agreed. Why would he risk it by getting involved in a play off game for us, on a hard pitch in an empty stadium.

Asante as an example is being linked with Gloucester and Solihull who are apparently throwing huge money around. If he can go and double his money now he’s out of contract here, why would he risk playing in the playoffs?
