We get a new manufacturer on board with some nice looking options and fans want to make the manufacturers logo smaller 🙄. If anything typifies our fanbase it’s this - a brand new manufacturer offering six choices for the fans to choose from and we have half the posters on this thread aren’t happy and create their own, including making the manufacturers logo smaller! Proper Chester that.

I don't know the ins and outs of the manufacturing deal so I've no idea how much Kappa are paying the club to produce the kit. I'm just not keen on manufacturers logos being bigger than the club badge on the kits.

Like stripes back and front, and like blue shoulders and sleeves. Don’t like fades, and don’t like the large logos on the sleeves. In short, all options are crap! The vote, currently, is to choose from six unacceptable options.
H, or Danny’s option, with number on back matching the colour of mbna on the front. Put that as an option and it’ll win by a landslide. Don’t include it and it’ll make a mockery of fan ownership.

Looks like you have been involved in the current options process and are simply having a tantrum.

I'd go for the faded stripes or the last one. The rest all look too similar to previous designs that we've had That's called tradition.

We're getting a choice that people often complained about not getting and you've decided that because of a set of aesthetic preferences that you personally hold all options are crap! Perhaps you're not the demographic Kappa have in mind when they research who buys the most kits. Maybe you are not the arbiter of taste you seem to think you are? One thing I can guarantee, is that it doesn't in anyway make a mockery of fan ownership and you will find a way to get wound up and throw your toys out of the pram over absolutely anything. For what it's worth they're all bit samey but I like F as it's different to the norm .

I'm not sure a completely bespoke kit based on a supporter's design can be an option, no matter how popular it is. How many clubs, fan-owned or otherwise, are offering that?
Think some people expect a little too much of a sixth-tier club with average gates below 2,000 sometimes.

Add to which a Club run by volunteers who are chronically short on numbers, but it's a mockery of fan ownership that someone hasn't spent the time to explain to Kappa that RCB doesn't like fades and that the Kappa logo is too big. I don't understand the dealings but it's a possibility that the size and frequency of the Kappa Logo is intrinsically linked to the costing of the kits and the deal.

Personally I think F looks like our Conference North winning season? And first season back in Conference. It also appears to be an image of an actual shirt rather than a concept if you look closely, with mbna and the badge just stuck over the image. So perhaps just a basic catalogue option?

F - E - D
F for me seems the most rounded design, with strong echos of mid-70s to early 80s Chester kits; Terry Owen and Ian Rush eras - that'll do me!

It’s bad news for the Chester fans among us who are on the ‘heavier’ side as Kappa are a notoriously tight fit. However, I think we could have done a lot worse. For away shirts, Kappa have done some really nice yellow and blue away kits for Leeds over the last couple of years that would look good for our away strip.

Not the case these days, mate of mine is a Leeds fan and although the players shirts are player fit the fans range are normal in size.

Like the shirt? Vote for it.
Don't like the shirt? Don't vote for it.
Think the club should have selected a different set of shirt designs? Tough shit.

Absolutely knew this thread would descend into utter rubbish. Well done CFC board for giving us a welcome choice, whether I like them or not I’ll vote for one and hope others agree. Just like modern society why is it many think that if their choice isn’t there or doesn’t win they just scream from their safe places or demand a vote again and again. If you don’t like them that’s ok don’t vote and don’t buy one. Why do most threads on here just leave you shaking your head. Personally I like them all apart from F as it’s not blue enough and is the wrong blue but if it won then it won. More importantly whichever is chosen we might have a proper supply of all sizes from toddler up to whatever, unlike the last number of years and can be restocked to the benefit of the club and us without saddling the club with large numbers of shirts that may not sell and their cost. This should have been a thread of positives but it is Deva chat.

Quite remarkable, on a forum specifically designed for people to voice personal opinion, that a growing nucleus of people think they have the right to deny others free speech and the voicing of differing opinion. It happens time and time again, to the point of tedium, that these little dictators feel only they have to right to express their opinion, and that all other expressed opinions should be agreeing with them. Currently the Chuckle Brothers seem to think they lead this little band. In regard to the six shirts option, if this is the final option then so be it. If it can be amended then people are right to express opinions.

The problem is that every thread you contribute to descends into arguments, because you seem to think that only your opinion matters and that everyone else is wrong. The vast majority of your posts criticise the club and the hardworking volunteers who work their socks off to ensure that we have a club to support. No club is run perfectly but we're making a very good fist of it, especially with circumstances like lack of numbers.
Whenever we win you don't post on here and whenever we lose or if any news comes out of the club, you're the first one to slag the whole club off. You are completely right that people are free to voice their opinions, but all you post is criticism without anything constructive to say, which is why people get pissed off. I can't work out if you're just here to wind people up or whether you honestly believe that everything relating to the club you "support" is crap - if it's the former then yes I have risen to the bait, so well done.
As I said, nothing wrong with opinions. Constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement should we welcomed. But you just seem to wait for anything you can pounce on and then turn threads into arguments with a constant barrage of criticism. In my opinion, you need to change your attitude and start to appreciate the many good things at the club.

Not a single element of accuracy or truth in what you say. You need to read things again rather than make false accusation.

I understand that some people will like none of the six. And I have no doubt the choices we have been offered is because 90% are standard production the other 10% is our sponsor. crest. etc. Unfortunately once you move away from standard then the price will go up. In my opinion a choice from 6 is better than no choice

Worrying thing for me is non of the kits seem to have room for Players names on the back of the shirts, above the numbers... do those involved in the design process not think we're going to get promoted !!!

They'll just move the number down to accommodate space for the name. Can't go releasing one with names as it'd suggest we think we're already promoted!

Spectacular that you jump to this "entitled to have differing opinions line" every time the majority of this forum rightly call you out for being a confrontational attention seeker, especially as you started this exchange with. "Bullshit! A consensus is clearly emerging on here, which typifies the concept of fan ownership. Looks like you have been involved in the current options process and are simply having a tantrum."here you decided you speak for all fans, decided what fan ownership truly represents, made a situation in your head about another supporter which you then decided has lead to that other supporter acting childishly, all this trying to silence and undermine another fans opinion on something. And it's all in your own head.. Non of it is true. If as you say everyone is entitled to an opinion why did you aggressively confront another board member about a differing opinion, then make up a situation in your head to justify it without any evidence. You're the least self aware man I've ever encountered, I'll do what I ended up doing last time I was on this forum and you embarrassed yourself in the same way and simply block you then I can spare everyone this palaver. For the benefit of this forum as a whole try some introspection.

I have already taken that action, because the admins don't seem to do anything about him. Agree 100% with your summary. We are trying to attract younger fans to the club and message board and people like him are just driving people away with their negative nonsense. I bet they are retired with all the time in the world but don't want to volunteer for a single day, or put the club at the forefront of their minds when they go all keyboard warrior.

Absolutely spot on. This is why I sound like a broken record outing people like rcb who seem to get off on wanting the club to fail. He isn’t the only one though. Them whopper clowns are bad for it too. Why would you even post on here? Strange mentality. Most of them got chips on their shoulders because we’re not Chester City anymore, proper fossils.
