Superb that. It was building and building and you could feel we'd get one chance, great work from Johnston for the winner, had his best game for us tonight. Watching Matty Hughes and Robbo by the dugout as we turned the screw in the last 5, anyone who had concerns about team unity can rest assured this squad is in this together. UTFS
also Credit to Groundstaff, dedicate that victory to getting that game on, pitch looked amazing given what it's faced in the last couple of days.

Was right in the middle of a rant about how lazy and ineffective Dudley was just as he scored a brilliant equaliser. Top of the table clash, some poor officiating, plenty of shithousery from the opposition and an injury time winner. Perfect.

How they’re top the league is beyond me What a team effort heads didn’t drop once love to see it Roll on Saturday They came across as the masters of shithousery, not playing attractive football but playing the referee to a tee. It showed that they lost any sort of grasp they had when they took Henderson off, probably their best player

It doesn't feel like a Chester game in someone unless the Harry Mac isn't slagging off Dudley or Glendon 😅 the types of players who have their moments of magic

I agree...I live 30 miles away and would have been at the match...but then I discovered my second team is on on tv tonight. Difficult to change as fixtures are fixed at the beginning of the season. I wonder whether a regular Wednesday night may be better? Any views? Great decision eh Chester 3 Kings Lynn 2 Athletico Madrid 1 Armchair Utd 0 i know where I would have been if I lived that close did you go ? .

Blood and thunder effort all round .Win so deserved when playing against 12, no thirteen opponents. CTID . 👍👍👍👍👍 The referee and linesman on our side were pathetic although we did think that James Jones was going to be shown a red. Really good match, Kings Lynn are top for a reason and we competed well against them. Thought m-o-m was either Jones or Burton myself. Only thing I would suggest is that Matty Hughes should have been replaced by Dudley from the start. Asante did a lot of the dirty stuff as well tonight and the other JJ had his best game yet. Poetic justice in the end and we have finally won a big game. Bring on Brackley.

The spell of officiating 5 minutes either side of Jonno getting sent to the stands was another level of disgraceful the foul given against Asante was bad, the mad decision to give a free kick rather than a throw in their half awful, but then the Lino giving that throw the wrong way when he was standing right in front of it might be the most baffling decision I've seen. KL can look at Jonah only getting a yellow. Shocking.

We don't get many nights like this. Well played everybody. Fancy leaving with 5 to go and missing that. Fantastic. I said to my brother at 2-2 that I just don’t understand people choosing to leave before the game has finished. It’s like leaving the cinema and missing the ending of a film, I just don’t get it when games are in the balance like it was tonight. 🤷🏼♂️

2 2 crowd of 1,540 .. probably 400 down because liverpool are live on tv . Who ever is in charge of scheduling this fixture should make sure that liverpool are not on the same night, it should of been arranged for tomorrow night instead this has happened a few times lately, need sorting. I agree...I live 30 miles away and would have been at the match...but then I discovered my second team is on on tv tonight. Difficult to change as fixtures are fixed at the beginning of the season. I wonder whether a regular Wednesday night may be better? Any views? Why should we change our fixtures because of people being too lazy to come down? This is why I can’t stand Liverpool and the other prem supporters across the city it’s weird

Maybe I should stay away every week if this is how we put on a show when I am absent 🤔! An absolutely phenomenal result for us tonight considering we came from behind twice, and for us to clinch it in the nick of time just makes it even better. Can’t wait for Saturday now against another side who are near us, and this win will give us bags of confidence.

Gutted I can’t be there tonight. They are beatable and we can do it but we need the team to turn up tonight unlike what they did at York. And let’s hope Marriott has an off day. Hope the gaffers used the extra prep time after the postponement to good effect. I’ll go for an optimistic 2-1 to us 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 Even more gutted I wasn’t there - suffice to say that when our third goal went in me and my lads woke up a very sleepy Spanish village with our screams!!!!! Sounded a fantastic match from the commentary - and a thoroughly deserved win for us. Really still need 6 from the next two games though.

Completely gave up on tracking the left back for the first goal. Doesn't look fit at all. A completely different player from the first time he was here, despite only being 30.

Think we can call that a season defining performance. At 1-2, it was looking grim. Now we are right in the mix. Six points off top, but still only five points above eighth. We are in a tough run of fixtures, but if we can hang in there I don't think our last six games are too bad. Are we seeing the Kings Lynn wobble? Lost their last two but their form over the last five is still identical to our own.

Not that I care.

The problem is getting away from the ground: it's a nightmare.

Probably got a rollocking at half time after that first goal. Agree he was more in the game in the second half, but he always needed an extra touch before crossing the ball, missing opportunities.

Last night was a perfect example of why, if you can, you turn up to watch live football on a cold February night.
Terrfic performance which, in some aspects, reminded me of Southport on Boxing Day. Real endeavour and desire + playing, for the most part, at the high tempo that brings out the best of us. A real team performance.
When we play like this, we can match anyone in this league. Our weakness is reproducing it on a consistent basis.
KL were made to look average although there were glimpses of the quality that got them to the top. But, for most of the game, we ran the show and it would have been a travesty if we hadn't taken anything from the game.
A quick word on last night's atmosphere. Thought it was superb, and I actually think the ref helped create it! So officious and oblivious to the obvious that I think the crowd reacted to "playing against 12" and this was reinforced by the Jonno incident. The noise for the winner belied the 1700 attendance!
I wonder how much psychological damage last night has inflicted on KL Next few weeks could be interesting! I still think we're not quite there in terms of automatic promotion but also still think that there'll be a few more twists to come.
Overall, a special night, one to savour
Let's now capitalise on it on Saturday.

Also made a couple of saves, like the one which resulted in the third goal where he saved it, but rather than keeping hold of it the ball ran loose.
