Looks like Burr has found his level ie in the Evostik next season, I suggest the people who brought him and McCarthy into the Club need to hang their heads in shame, they know who they are. In fairness the appointment of Burr at the time was widely backed by fans, given just a few months earlier he had almost won the league with Kidderminster.

From the way Mark Maguire was talking at the CFU meeting last week, I would expect Jon McCarthy will be here next season regardless of Saturday's result. For how long he'll be here is a different matter

From the way Mark Maguire was talking at the CFU meeting last week, I would expect Jon McCarthy will be here next season regardless of Saturday's result. For how long he'll be here is a different matter In view of the split that is gaining pace within the supporter base, and I dont think that is an inflammatory missive, the board have got to come out with a statement in the next day or so, regarding the future of JM . Is JM to be kept on or requested to stand down, either way, they must make a statement, not to do so would be a dereliction of duty. The splits would become more pronounced, season ticket sales, sponsorship will be hit , supporters will drift away if a definitive statement isnt made. We all love this club, if the directors bury their collective heads in the sand and pretend that there arent supporter concerns, then they will be viewed as extremely irresponsible .

Following on from the post by "smokeandcheese regarding Alan Povey standing down, that leaves 9 Board members, hence one short; if you look at the minutes of the CFU meeting on 16/2/17; it is minuted to be running with 10 Board members, there fore could the Board please clarify the situation. Also can it be clarified please via the CFU website which Board members are due to step down at the next AGM, after their initial period of tenure etc. many thanks

You'll be lucky to get a direct response on here from the club. Looking at CFU website, there are just six elected board members left . Marion is CFU secretary, David OToole is co-opted. Brian Burns, Neil Bellis & Mike Day were elected in 2014, so must stand down ( or stand for re-election) That leave just three. Anne Salmon, Laurence Kirby! Jonny Hughes.

Cannot even have a pop at McCarthy, it's down to the board to try and win back some enthusiasm for next season. Fans morale is lower than a snakes belly at the minute and the board don't even seem interested.
What more does it have to take for the penny to finally drop and see that enough is enough. Lost 8 home games in a row, even McCarthy must be thinking he is bullet proof now.
