Seems crazy I nearly missed this.I’ve been waiting for a link to be put up on here and the official website but didn’t see one( maybe just me being blind) but it seems it’s all happened on Twitter which I don’t use. I suspect a few sales will have been missed sadly.

So everyone that doesn’t use Twitter is a technophobe? Get a grip Regardless of why people don't use twitter, I was pointing out that you don't need to be registered on the app to view the content, devachat has done the work for you... But lets create hysteria due to a word someome posted online, that'll be more entertaining than addressing the real issue of the club getting the messages out to the majority of chester fans, and their reluctancy to get with the times

I wouldn't worry about it, just means the club gets to keep the money that would have been used to print out a cutout of yourself.
I was toying around with the idea of having a pic of Gary Neville sent but didn't think the managers would have been to happy about having to sign that 😁

I've been receiving emails about the cutouts. I asked the club to keep the money and not buy one for me. All money to the club in the end 👍

Thanks

Quick question to those that missed out on this, I understand that much be frustrating but how do you normally get your Chester News? It's been emailed out to the entire mailing list, On all social media, on the Official Website, on this thread which has been updated, mentioned on the Chester FC Dee 106 Show and in the Chester Chronicle. How could the club of done any better to ensure maximum reach in future?

There so much uncertainty around when football will return and what crowds will look like when it does that we're unable to give too much consideration to this at the moment" Jim Green's replyAttachments:

But you carry on... Maybe while you're learning how to follow the club on various social media platforms, you could learn how to use the quote function effectively as well

I suppose the club can afford to miss out on our donations this time around. Maybe next time.

Norwegian doesn't usually come across as a'whinger', I suspect he is just frustrated he missed the deadline info for whatever reason, Oaks, we all know you love to shout down 'idiots' and many a time I've enjoyed watching you doing it, but Norwegian isn't really a legitimate target when their are so many easier ones out there, peace, boys, leave it at that, two decent posters shouldn't be falling out with each other!

At your service sir. Nothing personal Norwegian, just trying to provide some entertainment, hopefully the club can benefit from your donation regardless

Just to clear up any confusion - the plan with the current cut-outs is for them to be in place for the duration of the playoffs. They will then be signed by the managers and returned to the owner.
I think Norwegian Blue was querying whether there are plans afoot to offer cutouts beyond this, as in making them a feature each season for those who may wish to have a cutout in the stadium for matches. As Jim suggested, with the current uncertainty regarding when we will be playing again in front of a crowd, planning for this is a little difficult. The uptake has been really good on them so far so it may be that we decide to offer them at the beginning of a season, for example.

The cut-outs arrive tomorrow morning and we have approximately 300 to install so if anyone can spare an hour from 1pm to come and help please email jim.green@chesterfc.com.
You don’t need to be a skilled craftsman (I’m certainly not) just capable of fastening cable ties.

Jim - as the likelihood of there being a playoff match at the Deva is less than remote, was there any thought of getting the cardboard cutouts transported to Altrincham as the ‘away’ crowd? (I know I live in fantasy land!!!) Must say the cutouts at Elland Road are amazing!
