Nightmare scenario today would be wins for York, Guiseley, Solihull, Braintree and Torquay and for us to lose, which would keep the two remaining relegation places open and see us dragged further into trouble. You'd like to think we'd do it on our own first and foremost and, failing that, at least a couple of the other results would go our way. But where Chester are concerned you can never be sure...

Its like 2 seasons ago ,all over again . Anything that can go wrong probably will and its all our fault , or should i say Mc Carthys fault .He didnt sound like a man under pressure on the Friday football show and i thought slightly complacent ,still standing by his players .Utterly deluded and clearly doesnt care much what the fans think .

Wow that's a negative viewpoint. Try this, we are cruising to safety and looking forward to a big fee for Hughes in the summer and further improvement on and off the pitch next season. The sun is shining and all is well with the world.

A nightmare scenario indeed but, touch wood, a very unlikely one. One bookie I've just checked with prices those six results all coming off at 294/1. Pretty sure we'll be safe by 5pm, but it would be nice if we could show some of the 'Spirit of Grimsby' from this time last year and achieve it ourselves.

Looks like a 4-4-2 with Lloyd out on the wing?
Don't know why Hunt seems to be out of favour at the moment.

Hunt was prob our best player and now can only get on the bench.

Gordon Bennett. Why he won't just play the back four we all know is best I do not know.

It's ok everyone, Jon shook the Chester fans by the hand and he's a thoroughly nice bloke. We'll just forget about his complete tactical ineptness and inability to manage a group of players effectively
