I think it could prove to be a similar game to Grimsby away last year and hopefully we will win again. Safe journey to everyone travelling. Score: Sutton United 1-2 Chester FC (Alabi, Durrell) Attendance: 1,882 (178 Chester) COYB!

Will go for a 0-0 draw. I still think away from home we're not bad at stifling the opposition. Yes, Forest Green outclassed us but it still took two quality goals for them to beat us.

Score: Sutton United 1-2 Chester FC (Alabi, Durrell) Attendance: 1,882 (178 Chester) COYB! I'd never take betting tips from you. Our last nine away games: W 2-1 v Braintree L 3-1 v Dover L 3-2 v Dagenham L 4-2 v Maidstone W 1-0 v Southport W 1-0 v Bromley W 1-0 v Torquay L 1-0 v Lincoln L 2-0 v Forest Green Actually not too bad. Maidstone aside, we've lost fairly narrowly to teams going for promotion, and beaten teams in the bottom half. A form analyst might argue an away win is not a bad bet. People tend to wade in predicting we'll get stuffed, but even in this terrible run, that hasn't been happening. Not saying it won't this time, but form suggests it's unlikely. It's the home form that's awful. I've little doubt we'll end the season with yet another home defeat against Boreham Wood as we're about as resilient as a wet paper towel at the Deva.

We are hoping for a good Exiles turnout tomorrow being a 'new' ground to conquer for most (shame about the pitch). We will be meeting earlier than usual in Suttons (big)Social Club before the match, so look forward to meeting up with other Exiles and the travelling Chester fans. Safe journey down!
Sutton have promised to put on a range of hot and cold food as well as a choice of ales (Bombardier and Tribute real ales, probably two others). They have advised: “On arrival go direct to the bars (enter via Times Square Lounge), don't buy your admission tickets first as it can be a pain to get back out and in again.”
Looking forward to cheering the Blues on to victory! Bromley, Torquay...................and Sutton??? COYB!

1-0 Blues. I think the 'get it and kick it long to Alabi and go from there' approach always works better away from home. Teams look to control the game at home, press high and become easy to exploit on the counter.
Hopefully we'll start with two up top so Alabi has someone to play it to instead of having to take on everyone on his own.

1-1, Akintunde
Can't quite match Rio's enthusiasm, but it's ages since we had a draw.

Watching the players at Total Fitness and after losing quite a few games after leading going into the last 5 minutes I guess they're lacking fitness. I'm nearly 67 and I work much harder than those players doing body pump and 45 minute spins and circuit training. Just saying.

2-0 Sutton and another interview from the deluded one post match, stating how much he admires his players and that no one should forget what has been 'achieved'.

The only thing he appears to have done is put on weight judging by a photo I saw this week.

Sutton Utd 1 Chester 0. Sutton score in the last five minutes and Chester are relegated. Macca says we've had a wonderful season, we played well in every game and it was just bad luck that did for us, but he'll be back next season to take us from strength to strength.

Difficult to have any belief in McCarthy or the players after recent events.
I think our best hope lies with other fixtures going our way and so my primary attention with be on them.

There's a real feel good factor at Sutton after the year they have had.Theyve sold 1200 season tickets at a reduced rate for next season. This will be tough on their plastic .pitch..Sutton 3 Chester 0.

You see them for 10 minutes winding down after a session and judge their fitness on that. Tl
