We do advertise the pitch hire alright. I've personally booked it for a charity match in the close season and was told there had been 59 bookings for charity events in close season. The biggest problem is if you're having people pay to see the game for charity, and you have over 100 people expected ten you have to pay a few hundred for stewards. Understandable but disappointing when you're raising money for diabetes UK.

What's the current situation regarding next Saturday? Are we going to be mathematically safe by 4:45 as it stands?

It's fully booked according to Andy at the club. I've booked to play on it I know, but my question was why can't we advertise publically, like on the radio for example? They didn't need to because it's been fully booked mate. But I get your point

Whether we are safe tonight or not, no one at this football club should take that as a reason not to sack the deluded one. Not if they have any desire to see this club progress.

From the wife - I had a log on for Deva Chat but all this moving to Deva Chat 2 is ridiculous. Everyone on here supports the club - we have spent our time - however long - following the club. Our daughter - aged 9 - is here today shouting for them but to no avail. I have been a supporter since I met my now husband and we stood on the terraces at Barnet in the snow in December 1996 - since then I have followed them through thick and thin - and trust me, as you know, mostly thin - but this latest aberration is horrendous - I will not go next weekend - Although we are up in Chester for the game - to see them relegated. Get a grip McCarthy - either sort and motivate the team or do the decent thing and go - please don't put us loyal supporters through this purgatory ... Yet again.

In fairness to Sutton it sounds like they've had their shooting boots on. It helps when you're playing a hopeless team though.

Just out of interest, when was the last time we scored from outside the box, Sutton seem to be doing it today!
