Have stuck by them, but enough is enough, been every away game this season so far including Marske, But no more, nothing getting any better, so not going to waste anymore of my hard earned cash on shite. Time to Go!!!! When I (wrongly) predicted a sub-1000 crowd for the Gloucester City fixture at The Deva, Moltisonti and Midfield General called me a Helmet (thanks for the constructive debate), but with more fans now refusing to watch the Blues I can see home attendances dipping significantly. However, it’s clear Chester FC can’t afford to ditch B&J so what’s the answer? I’m afraid it’s got to be grin and bear it in the hope Chester’s form and the matchday experience will improve. Will still be attending home games as ST holder, but away no more, unless things dramatically Improve, But won’t hold my breath.

Probably the way to go giving the away games a miss to be honest apart from the cup replay the home games on the whole have not been to bad, even if we have been or we have had some good finishes.

I ve have been critical of the recruitment tactics and lack of phyicality since the start of the season., which you would know, if you came on here to criticise anything other than the ownership model.

How is predicting a poor attendance and wanting rid of the management anything to do with the ownership model?

If I thought so strongly about them, I’d message them on Twitter. Why don’t you? Or are you a coward?

The board came out and backed them after the FA Cup debacle but since then results (and performances) have hardly improved. A very late winner against Gloucester hardly papered over the cracks. Always been a big fan of them, but now i think its time for the board to make a tough decision.

I may have previously stated that every season so far the management team have built a better squad and finished higher up the league tables but I'm starting to feel its not going to happen this season. I cant see any improvement or progress in our team even with the summer recruitment and resent loan signing, disappointing is an understatement. If we continue on our current form and playing style this pair will walk without being paid off as the criticism will grow and the post match interviews will become very difficult and if we still have any fans left in the ground I'm sure the atmosphere won't be too jolly for either of them to deal with, lets face it a Saturday league side would fancy their chances currently. The next two months will be very challenging on current form and It would be very unwise of the board to pay them off for failure. Whoever comes in will still have to work the the current squad so the focus for the remaining season must be staying in this league, which is pretty negative with so many games to go but its the only option we have.

Always been a big fan of them, but now i think its time for the board to make a tough decision. In contrast I've never been a great fan but think we should give them every chance to turn it round. We've done the reasons why to death ...cost of pay off, lack of suitable replacement, lack of budget for any new manager. They don't do themselves any favours on social media and often in interviews but whatever you think of them they work hard. Just as much chance of them turning it round with their own group of players than someone else coming in mid season. Out of contract at the end of the season.

There has been a few posts about player loyalty and talk of them not losing the dressing room, equally there has been talk about if the Managers where to leave we would be left with the same squad. But nobody as far as I can see has said what if the Managers were to leave or be sacked and they got a new job at another club at this level or below.
Given the loyalty they have shown to this squad surely they would want to come and cherry pick some of the players therefore giving any new management team with us a bit of flexibility to bring in their own.

Heard the interview again same old excuses bullied off the ball too easy well the solution is simple stop signing short arses and sign ball winners we were second to every ball Saturday personally lose Saturday there time is up

i just think they've tried to build a team to play football, which has never been their style. They're poor tactically but they have always put together great 2nd ball teams which are enough to get out of this league.

First time in a while I've been to an away game but thought I'd brave it on Saturday. In the first half it looked like Chester would get opened up at every opportunity and to only be three down at half time was a relief. So many gaps in midfield and the C/B's had midfielders and strikers running at them for the majority of the half.
There was a good spell for 20 mins in the second half. However, the last 20 mins was just disorganised chaos from Chester with not one shot in anger. Very worrying.
If that is how we play away from home then I am not surprised we are attracting unwanted records.

They're poor tactically but they have always put together great 2nd ball teams which are enough to get out of this league. That's what I think too. They were trying to play a possession based game, around a 4-5-1, but its not worked out and left us with a massively imbalenced squad. We have 3 number 10's, in Hardy, Weeks and Glendon, when its crying out for a midfield destroyer . The defence looks worse than it is because its got no cover In a way you can understand the signings of Cowen and Stephenson, as they won this league with Stockport. Cowen maybe ok, but Stephenson is a long way from the player who destroyed us in the 5-0, it looks like injuries have caught up with him big time. If it were me , I d try and sign a physical presence, in midfield and upfront, in a 4-4-2 and try to move some of the fringe players on Failing that I would give Harrison Burke ,who is an outstanding prospect a go , as a sweeper in front of the back four to break it up.
