I can't believe it's already the last game of the season. It only feels like yesterday that I was in Gateshead. I think we will guarantee survival as we always win our last match. If we want survival, us fans need to play a part. Back the boys from the off instead of abusing them. Can't wait for it!!🔵⚪️ Score: Chester FC (Richards, Akintunde) 2-0 Boreham Wood Attendance: 2,145 (111 Boreham Wood) COYB!

Rio, what makes you believe that Chester will win 2-0? I thought you were becoming a realist like most of the rest of us.

If we're ever going to win another home game again, you'd think this was our chance. Boreham Wood's form over the last six games is as bad as ours.
Sadly, I still think we'll probably lose 1-0.

Lose 2-1 and McCarthy will still come out and praise his players and offer them all new contracts for next season.
Att 1825 35 from B/Wood.

We won't get many from Wood, but I think the attendance may pass the 2,000 mark. Hopefully a few tempted by the cheaper tickets and the fact that it's the end of the season.

Chester 1 v 1 Boreham Wood with 1,550 in attendance. Another deluded interview afterwards, followed by utter relief that it will be 3 months until we have to see this lot again.

Definetly a win for the Blues. 3-2 rollercoaster ride having been 3-0 up at half-time, then conceding 2 in the second half and Boreham missing a last minute penalty.
It's OK will shortly have 3 months to recover from this affliction.
Im a happy clapper and proud of it 😜

One day I'll get it right so going for a 2-1 win tomorrow; we won't keep a clean sheet!
Crowd of 1550
Must admit, I can't conjure up a huge amount of enthusiasm for this match but will be there none the less and will still support the lads All I really hope for is a decent performance where I can leave at the end feeling positive rather than the flat, depressed mood after the last few games. In other words - ENTERTAINMENT!
Speaking of the mood, the whole club desperately needs a good performance tomorrow for all sorts of reasons - it'll be fascinating to see the reaction if it isn't (I think it could turn ugly)
Whatever happens, tomorrow will only paper over the cracks at best.
This close season, I sense, is pivotal to our future but we'll cross that in a couple of days I guess

I'm looking forward to it, catch up with my old man and few beers with an old work colleague in Telfords afterwards. The match might be alright too.

Whatever happens today, especially if we manage a first home win, do not forget the crap that has be turned out for most of the season !! Apart from the 8 game undefeated run we have been , as Macarthy says in one of his babbled interviews, " relegation fodder at the beginning of the season " ; what a nice man ! For the sake of the club, he has to go, so do not be conned by a win today and the end of season awards tonight !
