Don't know if it's already been mentioned but surprisingly Theo Vassell has been released from Walsall. I thought he was really solid for us, he'd be a great signing and has good potential to be sold on. Yes, would be very happy for this to happen. I think he could develop into quite a mobile centre half. Not that surprised he's been released. Would be great for us to try sand develop. He has a really bad habit of switching off for a defender at times, but he has potential.

Damien Reeves has left Altrincham - he would make a good signing for us? Lives in Doncaster though so a long way to travel unless he partners up with somebody else There's no way that we could afford him. He's turned down many full time moves in that past due to him making more money from being part time and his day job.

We have already seen that the extra training we supposedly do doesnt result in fitter players .We lost far too many decent players when we won the conference nth due to the club having the wrong attitude .

So players we sign can just turn up when they fancy, and put their day jobs before training if they're decent? Same same priviledge that Big Chris was given and that worked out really well.

I assume you can read ? Where did i say players can turn up when they feel like it ? Most of our players last season only turned up when they felt like it . its all about commitment and training one extra session a week didnt take the extra stone off Astles did it . Some people will be committed and some wont . I wouldnt have given Iwelumo a job because he had already proved he was a lazy man . is that in plain enough English for you ?

If you employ staff ever in your career, you'll understand one rule for one and one rule for another never sits well with people. We will agree to disagree.

Reeves was decent 5 years ago, I don't know why people are pining after him now. We need a tall, physical centre forward who can at least attempt to win a hoof or two.

Looks like Peterborough are picking up a few non-league gems. They've signed Stockport's Danny Lloyd on free to follow up the recent signing of Ricky Miller also on a free transfer.

He has a really bad habit of switching off for a defender at times, but he has potential. The problem for Walsall is that he hasn't improved at all over the season. You would expect a young player in their first full season to improve significantly. It probably takes a player 20 games to find their feet, then they kick on. The ability is there. He's decent in the air and has pace. If he can cut out the stupid mistakes and improve his positioning he could still have a chance at that level. Be interesting to see where he ends up. That will show whether other team have been impressed or not. Not sure he'd be happy taking the pay cut to come back here.

Matt Green released by Mansfield. Vastly experienced and has a decent record at this level. Could be the experienced centre forward we've been crying out for since we've been in this league. Worth a contract offer in my opinion.

Josh Gowling and Craig Disley both released from Grimsby.
IMO these two be an idea fit for us - Know the league and experienced.
Depends on our budget I suppose.

Penn has left Wrexham for family rather than financial reasons Not sure if this adds up seeing as he signed for Gateshead, which is further travel for him? Unless these ''family'' reasons are also financial!

He's absolutely deluded if he thinks he's good enough to play above this level.

Us Chester fans are deluded if we think we're gonna stay up Were simply not going to be good enough , however we deserve it . Given that most clubs would struggle to put out a five a side team at present after their retained lists have been released I think it's a bit early to make any judgement on that don't you think ?? On this logic we will be fine as Wrexham are to be booted out of the league for being unable to field a team with only having 2 pros signed up
