I wonder what happened to "a view from the outside"?

We will see movement in the backroom staff AND brand new signing. Rumoured it could possibly be the return of attacker James Roberts. I'd be delighted if it was him!

I didn't think Roberts was anything special last time he was here, how has he done on loan at Stalybridge?

I liked Roberts. Quality option up front and on the wing.

I know Roberts has been out on loan, but he has left Oxford now since then?

Roberts did okay on the short time with us, but he won't replace Alabi's goals and looking at his record it's worse than Richards, at a lower level. Id rather see us move on rather than dwell on the past.

Roberts only lasted about 45 minutes before he got knackered or injured, when he was here before.
He worked hard and had energy. Think that's what people liked. He might be the Durrell replacement then.
Anyone who is signing now is not in a full-time contract, as they run until end of June.

according to agent mick who is back on twitter Macclesfield are interested in johnny hunt Ha ha ha, good ole agent Mick, 100% accurate 5% of the time. Heard whispers that we are looking at signing a centre midfielder, so does this mean those Antony Barry rumours could be true?

Not really a rumour, but there are two players in the Welsh Leagues we should be looking at. Henry Jones at Bangor, former Swansea u21, 10 goals in 27 games from midfield and dead cert for young player of the year. Jason Oswell only 24, again top scorer for a mid table Newtown (22 goals in 31) great with his head. Cristian dodge only scored 16 for camarthen and he ended up with FGR and up the top of our leagues scoring charts

I'd expect Alabi to go to a club down south near where he lives in London tbh. Dagenham one who have been linked strongly with him, with their boss John Still publicly saying he tried to sign him in January and will be back for him in the summer. Alabi may wait to see if they make League Two first. I have also heard that Alabi has had an agreement with a club for 6 weeks now, so he's been on his way way before the season ended if true.

That would explain why he took hiso foot off the pedal And this is the real problem we have with having most players on one year contracts. I understand why and until / if we can find a way to generate more income we will always be in this position. But it does mean that players who show promise can be tapped up before the season has ended and you don't even get a full season out of them. Not saying this is definitely the case with James, but it does open us up to this.

Not saying this is definitely the case with James, but it does open us up to this. Then again, you have Solihull who did offer two year deals, having to release Harry White early because they've got in a pickle financially, much to our gain as he is a player under 23 years old and was in contract with them, so would have commanded a fee.

Anthony Barry rumoured to be signing for you. God help you if he does, legs gone completely and has zero fight left in him. I reckon he'll end up in the WPL personally.

Really hope this one is just a rumour, we need some height in there and he doesn't offer any. He's slow as a bus and build like a 12 year old, not for me..
