Dean Keates has stated tonight that Hunt is not signing for Wrexham.

At our AGM last night it was stated that our playing budget will be increased next season, and that we are on course to be in the black for the current financial year despite taking on the lease for the Racecourse. The board have done a good job in turning a liability into an asset. Now we just need a decent team on the pitch.

Dean Keates has stated tonight that Hunt is not signing for Wrexham. Unless there is a Rooneyism*
*From the OED, meaning to say one thing and complete mean another, but in a way to feel stabbed in the back.
Example, the missus told me a right old Rooneyism when she said the mother in law wasn't staying over for Christmas.

Just imagine if this bet comes in next Saturday... Chester v Boreham Wood (A) Dag & Red v Woking (A) Torquay v Noth Ferriby (H) Guisely v Solihull Moors (H) York v Forest Gn (H) Aldershot v Braintree (A) What odds have you got? The Bookies are running scared. The odds have been slashed! The Chronicle's Dave Powell hasn't dared even penned the word 'survival yet. That will probably happen 20 secs after the final whistle on Saturday though.. It's a tight 80/1 A sportsmans £20 bet on the permutation will bring you in around £1606.66

Can this thread not go in the off-topic part of the forum? I think it's fine here but we should at least give it a derogatory name like Goats' Grazing Paddock or something.

At the start of the week, Betway was offering 500/1 against us going down. Looks like you've missed it now though!

Some of us got 550/1 10 days ago It was always going to be a Sportsmans bet. You never know though...It's always worth doing losing bets with Chester on the coupons. And putting them in accies. Did very nicely betting on you losing games the 'hereford season'. Very well.

40k is impressive, sure could use it to boost a budget like ours next season. Can't believe people are saying that they wouldn't snap your hands off for it

Fair play wrexham fans always dig deep to help there club. We struggle to raise £500 for a flag

It does show their fans are more willing to dip into their pockets than ours but it also shows what a fan-owned club is up against. While £40k looks impressive, it will only pay an average player's salary for a year or as was the case with Rooney about 8 months.
