Huge credit to Wrexham for holding the mighty Maidenhead to a draw at the Racecourse. Some result that. Open bus top parade tonight along with the "Highest attendance Trophy" starting at 7.00pm.

Its September already, surely they must be thinking about changing their manager about now. Hughes is doing a fabulous job. However, when it comes to the annual changing of the manager social media becomes the "go to place". Seeing Barry from Gresford demand Chris Coleman or Terry from Caergwle saying they approach John Coleman is comedy gold.

I think they would be more likely to get David Coleman or Dave the Coalman.

Well.... pop pickers another Saturday without a win so I’m going to the local to hit the Special Brew in my bootcut jeans.
Over and out.

Why are the goats so quiet? Strange that. Some of you call us odd for posting on another fans chat site and others make comments like this when we don't - what's that all about.
I'm just back from a fantastic two weeks away to find the club in a bit of a crisis, although talk us swopping places with our Flintshire neighbours are a little premature at this point in the season don't you think?
There is no way we will be relegated - it just won't happen. On the flip side it is a little premature for you lot to think about promotion. Lets all get excited after the Christmas/New Year period - if we are in the same positions.

Not really strange at all. This is the website for the club I support. I don’t think you’ll go down either.

Looks like you'll need a "Miracle of Aldershot" today. McCarthy played on that win for months and I could imagine your golf coach will do the same.
Looking at the table after 11 games, it's a strange league. Woking and Bromley in the clear at the moment.
Do you guys just love this league? It's not like there's bigger clubs in there at the moment like Mansfield, Luton, Lincoln or Orient.

There was a 94th minute winner 5 years ago today.
Happy Heneghan Day Wrexham FC.

I predicted that we would be in the same league next year but it looks like you will have to do it via promotion in the play offs.

Why are the goats so quiet? Strange that. We are here!
Cracking win today and well deserved making it two wins in a row againt two of the top teams. We outclassed them in all areas.
We will be staying up but you let us down today with a loss. I seriously want you to get promoted, as I miss the Derby matches but you need to improve.

Looks like two very well know people are bidding to buy WAFC and for once it looks rather positive but there ios a long way to go to convince 75% of the WST members to sell up but who knows what will happen . I still watch what happens to your club and team with interest and hope that we are all still here playing football for the forceable future .

You have to ask yourself why now and why not after all these years struggling in non league. The exact same thing happened to us with Stuart Murphy. He took his chance during Lockdown but his intentions weren't genuine.

Seems that Wrexham fans are very excited about this. Can understand the temptations as we've been through that ourselves, but who are these investors and what are their intentions and credentials? Fan ownership is tough, but it's also not something to be thrown away to chase a dream unless it's really credible.

I think you might have got the same impression of excitement from us with the Murphy bid if gauged entirely by social media. Twitter is used by the young and naive, while Facebook is full of middle-aged fools. I stick mainly to Deva Chat because, for all it's faults, you get more informed and intelligent discussion on here than on any of the socials.
Be interesting to see what they're saying about it on Red Passion, althought not interesting enough for me to stomach a visit.

WST has requested a vote to enable them to proceed with further discussions with the new prospective owners who can then be announced providing the vote is sucessful. Looks like the two new owners are very well known and loaded but time will tell if their intentions fit in with what the fans want . Exciting times for a change !!

Rumours that it is Stuart Murphy apparently. Imagine. I've heard a few funny ones including Jaime Carragher but the one that's stuck is a local Wrexham firm called Money Penny. Buying a Club for £1 and making that 3 sided ground into a housing estate would be good profit.

Are you not a little wary of someone who has timed their bid to coincide with what looks likely to be the start of a second wave of COVID, and an upcoming recession?
Just seems to me that anyone with altruistic intentions wouldn't have bided their time until now to bid for the club.

1223 to 31 in favour of proceeding further.

1223 to 31 in favour of proceeding further. Surprised how very few voted on something so important. I'm guessing there will be vote to finalise some sort of take over but this is give up their Club 100%. Such a huge risk and why anyone would approach a Club especially in these times given the issues that everyone's facing. Just looks exactly what Murphy was trying to do.

Very low numbers, did it even pass the threshold required in terms of percentage of the membership?

Wow, I always think we're a bit lukewarm on supporter ownership, but for only 31 fans to be against it (or bothered enough to vote against it) speaks volume. Although it should be noted that this is just a vote to proceed with talks and another vote will follow.
Personally, I think I would always vote against anything but 100% supporter ownership, however well-intentioned I thought the party involved was.
