Just watching it at the mo. Nugent is a dirty little rat for what he's done there. Bullying and abusing children in a SEN school on the wirral.
How the fuck have Ofsted rated it good as well?

Sean McConville has joined Clitheroe. I know he's 35 and has had his injury problems but that's a hell of a drop.

McBurnie released by Sheffield United. Kelly Nmai, Marcus Dackers and Theo Vassell contracts have expired at Salford. People harp on about a target man but IMO we miss a player like Nmai. Someone with genuine raw pace that scares defenders. Obviously I'd have Dackers in a heartbeat though, but he won't be dropping this low.

Forwards cost big cash.

To me though thats where you need to splash the cash, forward and goalkeeper. They win you the points/games over a season that can make the difference.

There’s a recent quote from Cal along the lines of the sort of strikers we’d want are multiple tens of thousands of pounds and therefore out of our budget.

One less defender or defensive type player in the squad and pay the additional for hopefully someone who will make the difference up front.

One less defender or defensive type player in the squad and pay the additional for hopefully someone who will make the difference up front. That's a big gamble though. What if that player gets injured, or it just doesn't work out? There are two ways you can be a high scoring team. One is you can rely on a 20+ goal striker, which is basically what we did when Kurt Willoughby was here. The problem last season was he left and not only did we not replace him, but we didn't really find any other way to play that made us threatening. The second is to assemble a squad with goals all over it. I'd prefer this personally. You can win a league without a prolific striker. Tamworth didn't have a big goal scorer last season, and when we won this league in 2013 Jarman and Gray only just got into double figures. So, we need Glendon to keep scoring from midfield, we need the defenders to be a danger from set pieces, we need Weeks to play better than he did last season and find his shooting boots, and we need 10 or so from the strikers, and it will all add up.

This is more do-able than relying upon one guy. The last time we went up we have like five or six players around the double digit goal mark so we must have been a nightmare team to play against and it would be so good if we could replicate that this season. Still think we need the option of a big unit up front and not convinced Burke is that. What do I know though.

Ben Tollitt (Loanee) has signed for Morecambe FC Good luck to him, seemed a nice lad. Probably fare better in the EFL as he may get more time on the ball. Went missing too often at Chester for me.

The daughter of John Davies (who the commentator told me played for Chester but I can't recall him) came on for Wales women tonight.
As for the game, paint and drying springs to mind.

I think he was at Chester as a youngster but didn’t make a first-team appearance for the club. After that he had a decent semi-pro career with the likes of Airbus and Flint.

Former striker Marc Williams scored the winning penalty for Caernarfon the other night in their win against Crusaders, setting up a tie against Legia Warsaw. Sadly for them it looks like the away leg is going to be behind closed doors.

Legia, on the other hand, deserve to be thrown out of the competition altogether after the disgraceful behaviour of their fans in their league game last night.

Quite an authoritarian viewpoint that they should be thrown out for expressing their view which supports their democratically elected government’s position & is as a result of their soldiers being attacked.

Don’t want my kids to have to shell out £600,000 for a starter home. Because that’s the way it’s heading. 2 x the UK’s land is made up of golf courses than housing, worth remembering.

Need to focus on homes being a place where people live rather than being something for investors to make money on.

We need to build more council housing. Getting on the housing ladder is impossible now for anyone in the service or retail sectors.
