Chester 2-1 Alfreton. We really should be hitting a 3k crowd for this one.

If we set up like we did Friday then I’m going for the win 2-1, we do seem to concede.
If we revert to type we’ll draw at best 1-1
Got to keep going for it.

Be very interesting to see how we set up for this one, am hoping Friday wasn't just a flash in the pan in terms of our system. Got to go for it, with width, Tollitt in a free role with Peers down the middle and Thomas down the right. I'd rather lose 3-2 than watch another bore fest.

Question though, would you play Glendon if you went with that? Assuming a back three and wing backs that only leaves two places. Roberts and Weeks for me in that formation. We tend to beat Alfreton at home, which is surprising as they're one of the physical set piece type teams. A 2-0 win. Goals from Weeks and a late Glendon goal to seal it. With a crowd of 2550 including 70 from Alfreton.

Its 10 years since we lost to these. 11 undefeated, but around half of them draws. Draw is no good tomorrow.

our has been defending has been lamentable. We must score a fair number of goals to be the victors. My prediction stands firm: a 2-1 victory for the Blues, with Callum leading the charge to glory.

Indeed, my friend, our defense has faltered grievously, and our offensive prowess has similarly been found wanting.

No personal grievance with George, he's had a good season and is our top goalscorer but yes Roberts (if fit) and Weeks for me. If Roberts isn't fit I'd move Burke into the same role and bring Edwards in.

We all know Alfreton will park the bus so we must go all out for the early goal and force them to come out. If we see Friday's Chester then we will be fine however if we revert to what has been our norm at home we will struggle still I'm going to be positive and go for a 2-0 win Peers and Thomas with 3126 in attendance with a paltry 58 from Alfreton

I’m a bit torn. You know what you are going to get from Alfreton and they are the type of side we would normally struggle against - but for some reason our record is pretty good against them. So my head says they will park the bus and we won’t be able to hit a barn door from 2 yds and it will be 0-0 but my heart says we’ll set up like we did on Friday and win 2-0.

Anything but a win unthinkable. Surely they will bring a decent few being above us? Interesting to see starting XI as Murray and Roberts appeared injured when subbed on Friday.

We rarely lose to Alfreton, but there’s been a lot of draws against them as well. Think it’s four in a row. I suppose that’s probably what the most likely outcome would be today, but it’s a game where a win is vital and hopefully the momentum built up on Friday will continue.
Will go for a 2-0 win.

They can't really afford to park the bus, a draw isn't much good to them either when you look at their remaining fixtures and how many are still in with a shout of the play offs.

I hope you are right cos it’ll give us a chance but parking the bus doesn’t necessarily mean they are not trying to win. It just means they will be focussing on set plays and catching us on the break.
