Last season I seem to remember it was meant to pay on the day, but then about three days before kick-off it was made all ticket.

As much as I respect Craig Mahon for what he did for us I really don't expect him to be Mr nice guy given what is at stake.
I expect Curzon Ashton to give us a really hard time and some dirty tactics added in, for me Cal better be well prepared for this one.

I don't bother listening to his post match interviews any more to be honest, regardless of whether we win or lose. Used to enjoy his comms on Seals Live as he's very knowledgeable about the game, but his post match interviews tend to be over emotional waffle, and over time excuses are starting to creep in. One thing I cannot stand is managers making excuses, we had it with Burr and McCarthy where the budget would frequently be mentioned. It's a privilege to manage our club in front of 2k fans most weeks at this level, many of which contribute over 100k a season to the budget, so the last thing I want to hear is whining about how fking Buxton are full time or how Scunthorpe are a world force......concentrate on us - if we've lost a game it isn't because the opposition are full time, it's more often because we've been pitiful and barely laid a glove on them. Our failings are not budget wise, other clubs use a more modest budget more effectively than us......he was backed to put together a good squad so I don't want to hear excuses. We're not exactly part time either, I believe we have a hybrid model, so I can't really see how Buxton are expected to be much better than us cos they train an extra day or 2 a week.....our lads are fit enough, and Cal has had the best part of 3 years to impose his tactical stamp on this squad so everyone should know their roles and responsibilities. A big 3 games coming up - Curzon away which depressingly we'll be the underdogs for. Hereford at home who we've struggled with in the last couple of years. And a Tuesday night trip to Darlo won't be easy. Not sure how many points I'm thinking we'll get from those games to be honest. |

Be good to see him properly quizzed by someone a little independent. Just a bit disillusioned with it all now - feel like if we lose Saturday it’s coming to and end sooner rather than later |
