For a stark example of the difference in tone between the two boards, take a look at how differently they've responded to McCarthy's "lose the negativity" interview.
I think they've decided we're the "negative" forum. I don't know about that, but I do think there seems to be a notable difference in age between the people using the two forums, and older folks seem to get more worked up over what gets said online. Personally, I would say forums, pubs, social media etc are the places for opinions, but it's important that we're as supportive as possible during matches, and it tends to be the older guys who grumble and groan in the stands while the younger ones try and get chants going. Generalising of course, but I think different fans are negative and positive in different ways.

It was boring, childish and just pointless attempts at banter between goats on the wind up and Chester fans biting. He takes every opportunity to promote them and the good work that they do. |

I have nothing against the concept Senior Blues, but I won't attend while it's run on such dictatorial lines. He says that everyone is happy with him continuing ad infinatum, but this means he's denying someone else the opportunity to take the chair and develop the model and grow it. When someone won't relinquish the chairmanship of meetings the only outcome will be decay and ultimately oblivion.

At least the Senior Blues and their chairman connect with the club and raise money for it and other needy causes. But as I say if you can do better then take on the role. |
