Be good if Scunny could take 1000 to ours next season if we’re still in the same division. Or both in the one above. Seems unlikely Tamworth will blow it though.

Highly doubt we’ll take more than the 88 we took to Spennymoor last season. Very rare appearance on the Hipkiss for me that night. Well worth it.

On the subject of parking the Waitrose car park right next to Edgar street charged £1.80 last week as it was free after 8 pm very helpful and reasonably priced

On the 9:09 from Oxford Road, what pubs are people heading to in Scunthorpe? Would be good to get 2/300 in the same one like in the Brunswick at Piccadilly before Oldham, place was bouncing!

I had a quick glance at the Scunthorpe forum & noticed one of their supporters saying that he was disappointed as he expected us to take a few more. We could end up taking 1000 their. I don't know whether to laugh at his ridiculous comment or be insulted. Personally I think if we take 900-1000 it's a brilliant following. He's got a cheek considering they only brought 363 to ours in September when the weather was a lot better!!

Is there a designated pub tomorrow everyone is meeting at or is it just a play it by ear one?

If everyone turns up, they've now sold the 6,311 needed to break the record.

Is there a designated pub tomorrow everyone is meeting at or is it just a play it by ear one? Most away fans head to the Blue Bell, big Wetherspoons, on Oswald Road, 5 mins or so from Train Station. Police hang around but they leave you alone. as an alternative you pass the Honest Lawyer, lots of Scunny fans use it but there's no bother. Berkeley hotel - 5-10min walk from ground - has reopened recently although i've not been in it. Then Taxi up or for those with bus passes, come out the pub turn left past the Light Nightclub and there's a bus stop. They take you to Tescos on the retail park. Don't bother with the Farmhouse near the ground, our idiot, clone island, smoke bomb and flare mob drink in there.

Are your manager and our ex-striker Danny unpopular? A few fans are starting to turn on him. I never wanted him in the first place, he's completely unsuited for a large non-league club like us or Chester. He's had money to spend since he came in and been awful(3 wins in 18 National League Games). "But he has experience at this level". He managed Peterborough Sports for half an NLN Season. His real experience is in the Peterborough and District Football league where he can coach as a hobby. Elliott is one of our Directors(Simon). Known for slagging off fans online and in public, he's a Car salesman by trade and gets the odd sponsor in but doesn't put a penny in of his own money. Also known for backing the previous two owners who sent us to where we are now. On the previous owner, I said to one of your fans at the start of the season he has the sound of the "V" but some of our lot threatened online and in person anyone who spoke against him. Have a good day if you're heading over.

Hard to know what sort of manager a club like Scunthorpe playing at a lower level than they're used to should go for. When we first reformed there was talk of us appointing an ex-player or club legend as manager, but we went for the little known Neil Young who had just taken Colwyn Bay up from the same division. It turned out to be a masterstroke as we won three leagues in a row.

Can’t think of much worse than sitting in a ground an hour and a half before kick off.
No thanks.
