Have been reflecting on Saturday. I can’t help thinking we might end up repeating that all over again in the play offs - I hope so as that was one hell of a day out - in fact I’d say it was more enjoyable than the Oldham game earlier this season and poss the Barnsley cup match. Shame they all ended in draws…if it does repeat in the playoffs I think we’ve got what it takes to beat them. Oldham was last season.

Terrible highlights, no idea what's going on with the sound. Some of the fans running on the pitch for both sides look embarrassingly old, especially that gimp giving it to Stanway. Put a Clone Island badge on their arm and they think they are Roberto Duran when in reality they are obese 40 a day out of shape dustbags.

Seeing that back, Stanway really should have had their first!
A piss poor set of highlights though

Round about the 12.10 mark you can clearly see a few of their supporters go over to Stanway & get in his face. Disgraceful behaviour & hopefully they are identified & banned.

Was there any particular reason for the record breaking attendance on saturday?, had the visit of Chester been hyped, was there a cheap ticket incentive for home fans. Chester turn out was exceptional, but what was the reason for Scunthorpe's increased attendance, they weren't on a good run of form. Had we been top and second going into the game i wouldn't have been as surprised. Great to see though

Great to see though Yeah it was a specific attempt to break the attendance record, they ran a community day offering cheaper tickets.

Wish a keeper would smack someone in the gob for doing that one day. Pretty sure you could claim self-defence/reasonable force if they're running and gesturing at you, given they shouldn't even be on the pitch anyway.

Joe Paladino the Altrincham keeper, did exactly that to one of our fans who went on the pitch after the FA Cup replay defeat in the early 90s. Got exactly what he deserved!

Don't think he actually hit him but lined up with him in a boxing stance and saying come on try it (Joe was also a boxer) now goalkeeper coach at New Mills.

Not sure we'd have taken so many if they had just given us 1,200 to start with. It was like they just kept giving us a couple of hundred extra and challenging us to sell them before they gave us any more.
