Morning Chester fans,
Hope you all enjoy the day other than the football. The vast majority of Iron fans appreciate the following you are bringing to contribute towards the record. As the other Iron fan pointed out, if travelling by train the best pubs are the Honest lawyer or the blue belll pub.
Not much near the ground other than the old farmhouse and the Berkeley pub. Berkeley pub is a Sam smiths bar that does cheap ale but doesn’t allowing phones/ swearing so be warned.
There will be no problems mingling in outside the Britcon stand where there is a live DJ, just bear in mind this is where Scunny fans like to gather and aslong as there’s respect shown, there won’t be any issues.
We seem to have bucked the trend on social media with a nice mutual respect shown by both group of supporters- long may that continue.
Up the iron/Up the seals

Sounds like it’s gonna be an amazing away following and big crowd in general!
I’m always positive on match days, so going for an away win!
Scunny 1-2 Chester. (Peers, Glendon) 6897 in the crowd with 996 noisy Seals roaring on the yellow blues!
Safe travels everyone!

Depends how sore that foot is, as I suspect he got studded on the top of his foot and boots these days offer little protection.

Got a good feeling about today for some reason. Scunthorpe 0-2 Chester. Caton and Burke. 976 Chester, 6954 total. Record breakers

🤓 Can’t see Brackley, Chorley or Tamworth (too far ahead) dropping points today. Buxton v Scarborough, Boston v Spennymoor and Curzon v Hereford all looking close games, so would we take a point now? I think Cal Mc will go for a win, as a point I feel is neither here nor there!!! 1-0 to The Men from Bumpers Lane - but we will miss Dec Weekes.

Can see this one going any which way. I’ll go for 1-1, with a goal from Tollitt.

Having Tollitt back should at least double our shots at goal stats.

Had this discussion last weekend when he wasn't on the bench. He certainly hasn't looked effective since he returned from injury and I can't see a role for him next season, even in this league. A shame, as I like him when he is on his game. However, I think that what we need is what we'd like him to be - a big hold-up striker, with some physical presence.

It's a real issue that we can't keep hold of the ball, which would relieve some of the pressure.
As I type ..... 1-1
Bugger.

Did well to get away with a point there. A bloody good point in the end just wish we could learn to take advantage of the extra man other teams do but we seem unable to know what to do
