I don't think your adolescent reply helps much does it? It's true tho, your all doom and gloom before a ball has even been kicked, if we all had your attitude it wouldn't be any point in going to games. You're wrong. I was made up after we beat Maidenhead. I predicted we'd win 2-1 against Woking, but that was a truly woeful performance and the 8th consecutive against Woking . If you think the Woking performance was ok then I'm afraid most of the people who posted on here after the match would disagree with you (including the person who started this site). Its a forum and my views are just as valid as yours and that other geezer. It hurts when we are so poor and comments like the one above are very disrespectful and belong on the other Deva Chat.

This forum has three types of poster. You have the glass half full posters, known by those not part of their group, as the happy clappers. The glass half empty posters, who if we won 9-1 would moan about the poor defending that caused us to concede a goal and then you have the third type of poster who after one good performance is saying we're safe from relegation and after a poor performance three days later is talking about life in the Conference North.
Maybe we all need to give Marcus Bignot a bit more time to show his true worth before we either proclaim his as a waste of space or alternatively as a tactical genius.

Must admit to be part of your third group.

Don't believe any of us are criticising MB. What most of us are concerned about is how he can turn this squad into a team capable of consistently winning matches. If he does, he will turn out to be the proper manager we desperately need.

Can’t wait for this one! Best away day by a mile, and probably the best chance we have had in years of beating Tranmere away. We should take a healthy following again, but performance-wise big improvements need to be made from last night. Hopefully we can put Trampmere under pressure early on then score another goal later on. Come On City! Score: Tranmere Rovers 0-2 Chester FC (Hannah, Astles) Attendance: 7,988 (1,257 Chester) COYB! Sorry my friend but you are too young to drink and it appears to have affected your brain ! I was at the Wrexham v Tranmere game and although we won you could tell that there was a good team there somewhere providing that prick of a manager Mellon could sort things out. I watched them again last night and although they won they were still not running on all cylinders but getting better. You don't stand a chance of getting anything from this game and as for taking 1257 really ? I predict a 3 nil thumping by Tranmere.

Yes I must admit that when we beat Aldershot 8-2 the 2 we conceded were poor and if we'd not substituted Alabi with 20 minutes to go he'd have got another 3. Should have been 11-1 imo, lol.

I'm only going on Saturday because I pre-bought my ticket. After that I'm taking a sabbatical after watching a young Woking team inflict an 8th consecutive defeat on us. They always had us beat because they possessed the ability to pass and move, which sadly we don't. The icing was on the cake for me was when I went to take my seat and there was a Woking fan in it. The person that had brought him asked me to be reasonable. I didn't want to cause any trouble so I ended up moving to another seat and leaving my son on his own until the season half. It was his first ever game at the Deva. The people that brought this Woking fan should have moved ... not me. I thought about complaining to MM, but I think he's got enough on his plate at the moment. I've supported Chester for 58 years and what we've been subjected to in 2017 is worse than anything I've seen in those 58 years including us finishing bottom of Division 4 for my first 3 seasons. At least it was new and we'd lose games 5-4 and the like. Tranmere won last night and despite what Rio thinks we'll lose 3-0. I'll retake my seat if it improves, but I'm not now convinced that MB is the Messiah. Why didn't you both just move? The crowd was 1600 hahaha

I have already paid to see every home match this season. Don't call me embarrassing, you don't know me. I'm embarrassed that a fellow so called supporter turns on another one. I've seen about 90% of our matches home and away since we reformed and probably close to 2,000 since 1960. My reaction after a poor performance is often knee-jerk and I'll be missing the next couple of home matches anyway because I'll be on the Costa Blanca, but I'll miss it like hell. If you want to meet me in the Blues Bar when I get back I'm up for that, just don't call me embarrassing when you don't know me.

No one is forcing anyone to watch Chester, stop looking for excuses/attention and just stop going, no harm in taking a break. Complaining about someone sitting in your seat and not being able to sit with son is embarrassing. The ground was more than half empty, you and your son could have sat anywhere else together.

When I get my season ticket it has a seat number on it. Are you telling me this is meaningless? I've sat in that seat for the last 5 seasons. The Woking fan could have been ejected for being in the wrong part of the ground for God's sake.

The Woking fan could have been ejected for being in the wrong part of the ground for God's sake. Well, yes it is meaningless. Unless a game is a sell out (which never happens) or game is all ticket, even then match tickets aren't assigned to a seat anymore. Most people tend not to sit in a season ticket holders seat but sometimes they do. People even sit in ours sometimes but you know what we do? We just sit in one of the many empty seats in the same row, same block or somewhere else, there's plenty to choose from. Not the end of the world and certainly not worth stopping watching the club over.

I agree with Hannibal on this one. The seats are clearly labelled as being for season ticket holders. The Woking fan and his Chester counterpart should've done the decent thing and moved. It doesn't matter how empty the ground is, people choose their particular seats for a reason, be it the view or to sit with family/friends.
On the other hand as Joey Samoey says, it's certainly not worth stoppping watching the clubover.

Quite encouraging that, given that the tickets were only on sale during office hours. A fair few won't have one yet. I reckon we'll break into four figures.

Yes one of the reasons some people buy a season ticket is so they can sit in a decent seat they have chosen. It's a bit cheeky to sit in a seat that is obviously reserved when there are loads of empty seats. I let it go on Tuesday but sometimes I don't. It happens quite regularly.
