Certainly up against it tomorrow after Tuesday night’s effort, mind you I do think it’ll be a very different test. Tranmere don’t look appear as fast and energetic as Woking, come across as more slow and lumpy with the likes of McNulty and Cook in their ranks, although they often finish games well scoring late goals. Who knows, it might suit us. Let’s hope so anyway.

We'll see, I reckon we'll do ok , if they don't put up a good show with Marcos behind them ,then we're in a bit of trouble

I've been looking forward to this since the fixtures were published. Hopefully we can get something out of this game and I can go back to Norway feeling happy and confident that we can start to climb up the league.

Maybe Tranmere will look a lot quicker against us than they do against other teams! Given the players they've got on their right I can see a lot of crosses coming in from that side, with LRT tucking in too far across again. On the plus side, if Aki actually makes some runs into the channels this time we should cause them a problem too. It will be interesting to see how we set up across midfield. I'd bring Kingsley in ten yards to help the central two. Surely he can't play Davies on the left given their threat. We've only got Turnbull or Waters to bring in really. Depends if MB wants anyone wide left. Could put Turnbull behind a three of Shaw, Dawson and James?

I agree with Hannibal on this one. The seats are clearly labelled as being for season ticket holders. The Woking fan and his Chester counterpart should've done the decent thing and moved. It doesn't matter how empty the ground is, people choose their particular seats for a reason, be it the view or to sit with family/friends. On the other hand as Joey Samoey says, it's certainly not worth stoppping watching the clubover.[/qu Thanks CH2 some reasonable comment at last and not wumming.

We go down and meet the people we've met and sat with now for years. We go to away games together now too. There's become a group of 6 to 8+ that have become friends through our love of Chester. If someone was sat in one of our seats, we'd ask them to move. I doubt we'd all move somewhere else to accommodate some ignorant arse who just decided to sit there. I wouldn't expect any of the people who sit around us to bring an extra person and sit them in our seat either. Without asking if we'd mind shifting up one, at the very least. Then we'd move up, if there was space. By the way, after you said you weren't going to the Maidenhead game, I suggested you went to avoid missing our rare win. Can I suggest you go today too? We'll probably get stuffed, but you never know!

I don't think it'll be as one sided as many are suggesting. They've got good players but they've not played well this season and MB will have us right up for it.
I don't think we should read too much into the Woking game, we didn't play well but still created a lot of chances. Bignot will have learnt from it.
1-1 today, I think. Hannah for us. 1150 in the away end.

Really looking forward to it, will be good regardless of the result.
Decent ground and decent atmosphere, unlike most away (or home) games.

We all talk to each other during the match and often see things differently. Some of us take continuous defeat harder than others, but we all treat each other with dignity and respect unlike some on here.

Major Marcus is leading us into battle against Kim Il Cook and Adolf Norwood. The Major isgoing to be see Corporal James and Corporal Akintunde complete with regulatory military hair cuts go and guide us to an against all odds victory.

We'll probably get stuffed, but you never know! Harry I was at the Maidenhead game and have already booked B & B for when we play at theirs' in January. I got my Tranmere ticket a week ago. Its just that I've got this thing about us losing twice to Woking every season. There's a Woking fan on OneFootballForum and he says however bad Woking are they are guaranteed 6 points off Chester every season ... and the bugger is right every season. I just wish we could beat them once. We have a team of mainly journeymen players who are supplementing their other income by playing for us. Most of them aren't even fit. Halls is not fit to lace Higgins boots (I actually liked the odd thunderbolt goal he scored). Woking were a team average age 22 and it showed. I be happier if we were losing and giving Waters et al more game time.

Going to say 3-1 Tranmere and MB to make some calls after today. Hope I'm wrong and they can get up for it, but sometimes being up for it isn't enough when you've got Dawson, Davies and the way Halls is playing...

Do you think Lynch will start today? Mitchell will be on International duty with Northern Ireland again, so yes, Lynch will be playing. He's probably the lesser of two evils at the moment.

Delays on MerseyRail at the minute with possible cancellations due.Track problems at Green Lane apparently.
Trains now not stopping at any station between Hooton and Birkenhead Central.

Merseyrail trains have been absolutely dreadful in recent weeks. The guard strikes have been the least of the problems. Ground is about a 20-30 min walk from Birkenhead Central. I'm walking from Conway Park which is a little further.

Think rumours of Chappell's demise may have been exaggerated, currently warming up in front of us. No sign of Mahon

Playing James out wide is the kind of nonesense you'd expect from McCarthy, not Bignot.
Hannah has been useless and Rowe-Turner isn't a defender.
Lynch MOM so far for us.

Other than a few chances, again we're getting slaughtered. Another day it seems Tranmere could have had 7 by now and there's still 10+ stoppage left!

Tactically superb yeah, he's nullified their full back all game who is arguably their best player, lynch MOTM by miles and superb effort today. Point gained, won't be easy to beat under Bignot now he's had some time with them. Don't understand any criticism of LRT, Hannah or tactics. They've worked their arses off for the cause and Hannah has been a frustrated figure.
