Another example of why Lynch should always start over Roberts. When you say another reason, it's maybe the young lads second mistake since the start of the season and he played a huge part in the 8 games without conceding, saving at least 3 big chances against ferriby. Astles with some poor defending for the goal beat very easily by a dummy shot. |

We're crying out for a bit more width here, currently playing 4 centre midfielders. Can see either or both Richards or Chappell coming on at some point

Interesting to see us on the box. You get to see the shape far more clearly. Luke George for example - looks very composed when the game is in front of him and we are on the front foot. But when he's turned and has his back to play he's anything but composure personified. Gateshead have managed to get their width into play and with Joyce playing just in front of the back four and George now getting pulled in there we look very narrow. Bit of work for Jon at half time. I'd take Joyce off, drop Shaw back in and bring Kane on.

The overweight Durrell looks like the only tv show he should be on is "You've been Framed". Falling over, slipping and making a clown of himself!

Playing with one up front is inviting pressure onto us and there passing it across us our midfield is getting dragged everywhere. We need 2 upfront it makes sense
