We have been dire today, no creativity, no width, no pace and once again we look unorganised in defence. How Joyce can start at this level is beyond me and I don't know what Macca sees in him. It's all well and good saying we have had a great season blah blah blah, the fact is we are in free fall, conceding too many goals and thankfully the first half to the season will see us safe. |

Well that was shit, felt sorry 😐 for Alabi up top on his own, weak in defence, keeper had a mare too season is petered out just hope we get the 8 points or so required between now and the end of the season we should do but you never know we're Chester Fc after all.need to stay strong and re assess at the end of the season.

If you'd seen the Daggenham game you'd know why he started today. Poor second half from the blues today and disappointing performances from key players. Alabi was isolated and I felt sorry for Him at times. Lloyd wasn't great for me when He came on. To be honest we failed to capitalise on a great start, threw away an equaliser and should have come out of that with a point of not for some sloppy Astles defending. |

Can't wait for Jon and his excuses today I bet it will be the injury changed the game. We play 1 upfront at home infront of tv cameras that was just asking to be beaten and yes that's what happend. It's embarrassing !

Not meaning to rub it in but you are the worse team we have played this season how you are not in the bottom 4 Iv no idea you can tell you are part time good luck with the rest of the season. When you can see players are clearly unfit ,then the manager isnt doing his job . And the directors expect people to pay £18 to watch people who are not dedicated to getting fit .

We were so poor today, id say the worst home performance of the season. In front of the cameras too made it embarrassing, ok Gateshead aren't a bad side but we just had nothing today, lack of urgency, lack of fight didn't deserve anything from the game.

That was really poor and Gateshead were streets ahead of us in reality.
We never really got to grips with their wing backs, they always seemed to have an out ball whereas we continually wasted possession. I've got to say, I don't like 1 up front at home and we showed all the negative aspects of it today. Alabi was unsupported and we just kept launching it towards him. I see why JM kept with it, after an encouraging display at Dagenham, but we really did play into their hands.
A centre midfield with Joyce and George is never going to offer creativity and we missed the urgency of Lloyd in there from the start.
If we had our time again, I think JM would have started Richards alongside Alabi, but he and the team will learn. Its not a disaster, it's a poor result in a season where there's been far more positives than negatives.

What like when your benefactor pulled the plug?? We didn't look shit today we dominated the game after the first 20 mins and let's face it we didn't have to get out of 2nd gear second half. Hate to be negative but that definitely ends our play off hopes, very flat performance. Let's be honest, playoffs were always a pipe dream. Top half would be a good season, and we can still manage that as long as we snap out of this poor run of form, where really we're losing games carelessly. |

Was impressed with your lot, total control in that second half although we did make it very easy for you. looking at the first game of the season and that today it just doesn't add up that you are not right at the bottom today there was no fight from you no control just a big hoof up front to the big lad who didn't win a header and had he won a header it would of gone to our player as you had no one else anywhere near him. I could see before half time that if you continued to play hoof and defend hoof and defend that we would win the game. I do like the lad up front with someone with him he would be a great player! |
