This is a game that we need at least a point from to keep in touch. Won't be easy, but who knows ? I wonder if a pitch inspection is planned !

We have a chance..just saw Richard Money has resigned from Solihull and one of the few teams they beat recently were...
'In their second season at fifth-tier level, the Moors have won just three times in the league - the last of these was under Money, the 2-1 win at Eastleigh a week ago.'
We beat them last time there so why not? History always repeats itself.

I thought we were playing there tonight? Wasn't it originally scheduled to be? Had a 1hr 56mins trip on Google from Bath and was considering it all afternoon! Lucky I saw this.

Moved to Saturday because of both teams' FA Cup ineptitude.

Eastleigh are struggling at the moment so we will be looking to get something from there. It would be good if we do get ‘one over them.’ I’m going to be braving the trip again, but I am still looking forward to it. Hopefully a good performance with 3 points. Up The Seals! Score: Eastleigh 0-1 Chester FC (Archer) Attendance: 2,125 (138 Chester) COYB!

Hopefully it was just a flash in the pan and they will resort to their normal mediocrity. And we can achieve a flash in the pan and come up with something out of the blue. Has 0-0 or 1-0 to either side. That being said I hope it's more like 4-6......

Terrible overnight rain forecast down there. Morning inspection followed by postponement!! Would they dare? Wet down here in S West...wetter than last time so on that basis it will be postponed. However perhaps it wasn't the real cause of the prior postponement and this time the rain won't affect the playing surface...maybe different kind of rain this time...

Allegedly a lot of work has taken place on the pitch since our postponement. Desperately need a result today. We can't keep narrowly losing and talking about being unlucky. Coming to a point where we are going to start needing to average 1.3 points per game to stay up.

Shaw is ruled out however Mahon could feature Looks a non-starter as NFBF has posted on t'other DC he didn't show at the Senior Blues meeting yesterday as he is having trouble driving due to his injury . . .

Coming to a point where we are going to start needing to average 1.3 points per game to stay up. I've been concerned for some time that we could get cut adrift unless we started a (small) unbeaten run. If there was a group of 5-6 fighting to avoid the bottom 4 that would be uncomfortable to say the least, a group of 6-8 would help our cause dramatically. Today's an important match, mind you, they are all becoming rapidly important. Whilst we are certainly more competitive than a few weeks ago, results not performances are key as MB has repeatedly said. I'd settle for a crushingly boring draw of such lamentable quality that the Eastleigh fans moan and groan. If we can sneak a win by the odd goal, it would be a real bonus especially before next Wednesday. Going for 1-1 draw and Archer to show even more of his potential

Another important game with them only being a few places above us, I'd be very happy with 4 points from these next 2, cannot afford another loss today.

Very few coming on here (except Rio's usual win prediction) forecasting a win for Chester. When we beat them 3-0 at theirs' they got their own back at deva later in the season. A draw would be the most I would expect. Without a winger we seem very one-dimensional going forward. Massive faux pas giving Mahon 2 years.

4-4. Though hoping I can make it 4 successive away wins in a row. Bizarrely, the last 4 matches i have seen this season and last, we've won 3 and drawn 1.

How many Eastleigh fans will try and get free entry to the Chester end. How do they intend to marshall it?

How many Eastleigh fans will try and get free entry to the Chester end. How do they intend to marshall it? It's free for all I've read somewhere. That's why they have a better average support than us: free entry and cheap season tickets. The free entry doesn't wash with me. The game was deliberately sabotaged because they had 9 players out injured. The National League should have awarded us the points or order them to play the team that was available on the original date.
