📋 | chesterfc team: Mitchell, Hall-Johnson, Halls, Astles, Gough, Rowe-Turner, Dawson, James, Hannah, Archer, Akintunde. #COYB 🔵⚪️ 📋 | chesterfc subs: Vaughan, Joyce, Davies, Bell, White. Looks like a 3-4-3. Strong lineup despite the multiple injuries.

TEAM NEWS: #ChesterFC XI vs Eastleigh - Mitchell; Hall-Johnson, Astles, Rowe-Turner, Gough; Dawson, Halls, James; Akintunde, Hannah, Archer.
Looks to me like a 4-3-3?
Rowe Turner at centre half, Halls holding midfielder and Hannah and Akintunde either side of Archer?

Looks like a hotch-potch to me. Where's the midfield?

Looks like a hotch-potch to me. Where's the midfield? Exactly what I thought. Bloody hell - not confident.

It's no use having 3 up front if they are going to have to depend on long punts upfield for their supply.

Why buy a gk in and put him on the bench Because 1. He cost us next to nothing if anything 2. not every player a football club signs is for starting every game 3. every team need another keeper and we have an experienced one for very little cost

Certainly an attacking line up. Hannah was knocking every thing past new keeper (he looked decent though not tall) in warm up. Let's hope he can do likewise in the match. Without Turnbull and Mahon that midfield worries me

No idea how Eastleigh have got away with this, I bet that line up has 7 or 8 different players to the one we were meant to be playing. Cheating scumbags.

0-1
Lets be honest this 3 centre back line up is alarming at any level. Even Astles isn't at his best this season for me.
Nearly equalised, good work from Aki! Hannah should score IMO.

Trying to be optimistic, sometimes it's not good to score too early

The lineup is what it is, really. He can't do much more than play the best players we have available in the most suitable formation. Looks like a long afternoon ahead though

When you dish out contracts to ageing players with a track record of injuries, what can you expect?

A heavy defeat looming with a line up that looks like a circus.
I hope MB keeps his job in the Conference North next season.

We’ve been the better team since the goal. Still in it Why do I doubt your opinion? No idea as what he's saying is 100% accurate, could easily be leading Hannah and I I think LRT? With big chances.

We've had two or three half chances and should have equalised when their keeper was completely out of position and out shot headed off the line

The last 5 meetings between Chester and Eastleigh have been won by either side to nil. Not a good stat for us this afternoon !
