Chester 0-1 Wrexham. Late lucky goal for Wrexham. Attendance 4,025 - 1,150 Wrexham. EAST STAND - SOLD OUT SOUTH STAND - SOLD OUT WEST STAND - Less than 100 tickets left. HARRY MAC - No figure but believe close to selling out too. If we can shift the final couple of hundred tickets then we could be in for a sell out crowd on national TV, and a chance to get the floating fans, who will be there tomorrow, back at the Deva week in week out. UP THE SEALS You seen in the know . . . any idea if they can vet the last minute rush online? As they are being picked up on the night guess not? Must be a fair chance of away fans in home areas.

I think the fact that it's close to a sell-out demonstrates that there will be visiting fans in all four stands.

It’s all income for the club and any troublemakers will be removed from the ground with no refund.

The offer was there for me at the Deva if I couldn't get an away end ticket through family - luckily I did. Don't wear colours, keep your gob shut and don't celebrate goals then there shouldn't be a problem.

We've heard the 'legions of away fans in home sections' line before.
People are talking as if Wrexham sold this game out instantly. There was plenty of tickets to go around in their section of the ground.

Can't tell you how excited I am about tonight - it actually feels like we've got our derby back.
Going to be bouncing at the ground. No other football on TV, so a large TV audience - let's do our clubs proud!
I hope all Chester fans - and the decent Wrexham fans who visit this board - enjoy the match (the latter not as much as the former, obviously!)

As much as Derby Day is great, there’s a part of me that absolutely hates it. It’s only a game of football, but at the same time there’s local pride at stake. This is the game nobody wants to lose. Sychdyn Blue says it’ll be 0-0 & I will take that right now! Have predicted 2-2 in the Super 6, I think there will be goals. I’ve no doubt Bignot will do a better job at firing the players up than his counterpart in the visiting dugout. But you could argue that they have a bit more quality in their ranks. Ability counts for nothing though when players give 100% and everything for the cause. It’s that drive that’ll spur the players on. Will take a draw, a win would be fantastic. I just don’t want to think about a defeat. Especially with it being on TV. We’ve had ample opportunities to gloat following the Heneghan Derby, I just hope it doesn’t bite us on the arse by 10pm tonight. Oh to be a pessimist!

It's a game of football, people treat it like it's everything in life to get a win tonight. I'm going for a 1-1 draw, although i think they'll dominate the game tonight and that defence has to be one of the best, if not the best, in the league. We need to take our changed tonight, and keep 11 players in the pitch. It strikes me as a game we need our battlers for, so Tom Shaw will be a big miss!

I never enjoy the day of derby day if I’m honest I just hate to lose against the old foe, I do enjoy the after match celebrations when we turn them over. The feeling I get during the match is like the play off final second leg against Doncaster when it went to golden goal then pens, I came out of that game feeling like I had gone 12 rounds with Antony Joshua.

The dismissals have been weird though - Chester born and bred Ashley Williams in the first ever newco Derby at the Goatcourse for elbowing their lad in the face in the last minute, having earlier belted a ball during the halftime warm-up into the rowdy lot in the PG Tips stand... Ryan Astles for turning like an oil tanker stuck in a mound of seaweed and hauling their lad down in the 0-3 reverse... the Richards-Jennings full time spat... Ricky Ravenhill going for a 50-50 ball with Mr Potato head in goal, who clearly handled outside the box, I know, as I was dead level with it. Lino flags for the handball and Uriah Rennie overrules him and sends Ravenhill off, bizarre.
I think the Ribena berry also gave away a penalty in that game and they also had Steve Evans sent off, for his ninth bookable offence.

Quietly confident for tonight especially with the improved performances the last couple of games. Marcus Bignots message is starting to get across to the players now. Since adding that extra day training we do look a lot more solid and our players are getting more confident. If McCarthy was in charge on Saturday we would of folded other and probably lost that game 2-0 3-0. We have great character in the squad. I know Wrexham will be up for it and they are 3rd in the league for a reason. We can't afford to concede early and chase the game. We need to go at them from the off. Get in their faces and press every ball. They might have a good solid defence but under pressure even the best players make mistakes. Looking forward to this one going for a 2-1 blues win.

I'm going 2-1 to us with 4,173 in attendance. Come on you blues! Can't get up there today from South Glos & don't have BT Sport so which is the most reliable hooky stream site?

I just hope that if we are holding a minutes silence that the mindless few on both sides can keep their gobs shut for that one minute.

First started coming to Chester back towards the end of the 2008/2009 season and have never seen us lose to Wrexham, even during that season we went bust under Mick Wadsworth and we drew 0-0. I remember Gregg Blundell missing an absolute sitter in an otherwise uneventful match. I luckily missed both of the defeats at the Racecourse! Here's hoping that run continues tonight.

I'm like a coiled spring for this one, the worst Chester side since the reformation against the odds for a 3-1 home win!!
