Why are people still moaning about penalty decisions etc? Take the result on the chin and move on. It was two days ago. Top post - look forward to the game at the Cae Ras - some of us Wrexham supporters realise we were lucky to get the 3 points - just look forward to the next encounter. Whatever the result, play like you did the other night and no way will you be relegated. That is exactly the problem RossetRed, we have improved performance wise but that won't save us. We have to start winning. Wrexham are winning games by good game management, not pretty football. How many goals have Chester given away by sloppy defending in the dying moments of a half or game? We were 2-0 at home to Barrow and went in 2-2 at HT. Agreed that it's something to work on but as a certain poster has pointed out, MB's decisions have to be questioned. Example, we were a goal down and chasing the game on Wednesday and the manager pushes our centre half up front and only in the 89th minute does he bring on a striker to play 4 minutes of added time.

I think an encouraging sign is that the performances are still representing improvement beyond the point at which they can simply be put down to new manager syndrome. I remember when Steve Mungall replaced Gordon Hill there were two or three really gutsy displays at the start and then the side reverted to type and he barely picked up another point. This time around there seems no shortage of desire, the bigger question is whether positive displays will start equalling victories.

He only got 10 games, took 10 points from the first four but was sacked after only taking one points from the next six. Perhaps a bit harsh in hindsight given what he inherited, but I suppose we had higher expectations in those days. Seem to remember we were pretty unanimous that he needed to go.
