Thought it was supposed to be about Brexit, but as we have left I suppose the usual suspects have to rant to try and browbeat people into agreeing with them. Imagine not agreeing that kids shouldn’t go hungry.

Tories: “Don't have children if you can’t afford them”
Most of the population: “Well I could, but then Rishi Sunak put me on 66% pay with 100% bills so you gonna let my children starve?”

As a parent I find it hard to comprehend people voting against child starvation. I've heard the argument about parents being irresponsible with money and maybe in some circumstances it could be true, well in that case help them to be better and don't punish the child. It's not a child's fault if they parents struggle to budget, that child still has a right to eat. And as mentioned above, the budgeting issues parents face at the moment are more likely to be a sign of times with the cuts imposed by Tories. It's hard enough on full wage too - I'm fortunate enough to have been on full wages throughout the pandemic but during that time my marriage ended and I'm paying bills alone now which is a huge adjustment, I'm sure I'll make it work but it's tough, so god knows what's it's like for people in my situation who have suffered a wage reduction and stress about job security etc.

Utter scum.

It's time we stopped seeing criticism of the Tories as "being political", and just saw it as having some degree of awareness. Is being anti-Hitler "political", or should we make a defence of the policies North Korea in the interests of political neutrality? I'm not saying things are that bad but there comes a point where we have to start realising that being impartial is defending the indefensible.
I try to understand that not everyone thinks the same way as me, but I really do question the sanity and intentions of anyone who can still support this lot. They are not politicians, they're thugs.

He isn’t the Speaker of the House, he’s just moderating to prevent Chester fans from swearing at each other on a football forum.

How does that impact his ability to moderate on a football forum? I had the same from some of you towards the end of last year, some didn’t like me being a moderator because I had political opinions - sorry, left-leaning political opinions. Suspect there wouldn’t have been an issue if I was a right-wing Tory boy extolling the virtues of killing the population and starving children. You’d have been fine with that.

An opinion is just that. You can have differing opinions and sometimes after debate find common ground. But, and this is a big but, certain posters let their emotions run away with them, and resort to insults. I'm afraid that will get you nowhere

Classic distraction technique being used here because certain people can’t overtly defend yesterday’s vote for fear of how they’d look.
