Interesting that Jacob Rees-Smug, who just 6 days ago said Theresa May was unfit to lead the Conservative Party and should resign, is now saying she’s okay to lead the country. What a snake and talk about putting your party before country, typical Tory scum. He’s unbelievable, him. I can’t believe anyone can take him seriously, he’s like an antagonist in a Dickens novel. If you tried to get one person to embody everything I am politically, and morally, opposed to, it would be him!

I am no Tory by any means, but to say he is an effective Leader of the Opposition because Cameron threw the grenade in and ran off like an absolute coward and May has been left to pick up the pieces and is destroying her own party in the process is hardly effective. Thats not to say i am not enjoying watching the whole lot of them implode though. Led Labour to it's largest share of the vote for decades and has overseen party membership rise from below 200,000 to almost 600,000, making Labour the largest political party in Western Europe. "Hardly effective". Put your trousers back on. He’s still behind in the polls and couldn’t win an election. He’s the leader of the most impotent opposition of all time against a dire government. Just look at the vote of no confidence in May yesterday. All over the place.

Remember however that Labour stand little chance of a full vote of no confidence in the Government passing as things currently stand with May trying to keep the DUP sweet with her "seeking assurances line". Those parties who are pushing for Labour to issue this Vote of No Confidence have little if no interest whatsoever in Labour winning that vote. They have EVERY interest however in a 2nd Referendum, and what have Labour said they will do if they fail to call a GE?
A. Push for a 2nd Referendum.
All Labour can do is keep pushing May to bring that date forward, May knows the deal won't pass, and so the talk today and I suppose over Christmas and New Year will now be of No Deal. May and the Tories pushing their "Mays deal or no deal" agenda to try and force MPs into accepting Mays botched attempt.

Labour wont win the next General election without the help of the SNP as a coalition and that will never happen because they (Sturgeon) would want another Scottish independence referendum. Labour would then effectively lose its majority without those seats.

Welsh farmers being interviewed on C4 news, worried about a no deal Brexit, guven that most of their produce goes to the EU. What did they think was gong to happen? Probably been told by that twat Farage that the UK government would cover the EU subsidies. Where in reality they couldnt give a rats ass about then. Lol.Guess thats a positive of Brexit that those comnunities dumb enough to vote for it; are the ones that are likely to be hit the hardest. Instant Karma. Lets see if they still support a Tory Brexit? In the meantime emerency planning for a no deal Brexit, which will fracture the Tory party and turn the UK into the into the equivilent of a South Anerican Banana Republic, horrifying business. In Europe, Brexit is being used as the kind of thing you scare the kids with. But dont worry the English are unique and special and they need us more than we need them. Especially stupid maybe?

The most concerning thing for me is that this Government has no plan B, nor has any intention of looking into a plan B should May's deal fail, which it looks likely to do. She is intent on her deal passing, despite how fucking shit it is. I listened to the emergency meeting yesterday called by the SNP, and Sir Keir Starmer summed it all up very eloquently and to the point. All this talk of renegotiation from May is bollocks, the EU have said no renegotiation over HER red lines, no formal meetings planned between now and Mid to end of Jan and they are all pissing off on leave for two weeks while the country is left in limbo (I've not summed it up so eloquently as he did 😂) And so rather than take the hit and lose the vote on her deal, she's kicked the can further down the road and relaunched Project Fear in the hope of forcing the House to accept "a bad deal is better than no deal".

I'm already looking forward to reminding you of this post when Labour wins the next election... Labour wont win the next General election without the help of the SNP as a coalition and that will never happen because they (Sturgeon) would want another Scottish independence referendum. Labour would then effectively lose its majority without those seats. That's assuming Scotland voted yes to independence. They didn't last time, and although that was pre-Brexit, I'm not sure they would be that bothered about independence under a Labour government backed by the SNP.
Also, the Tories currently have 13 seats in Scotland compared with Labour's 7. It's possible a Labour-led coalition might still keep a majority if backed by the likes of the Lib Dems, Plaid Cymru and the Greens if they manage any seats. A lot would depend on Northern Ireland, where we need them to stop voting for those DUP dinosaurs and Sinn Fein, who are neither use nor ornament in the context of a UK election.
Have to say, I don't really understand what Scotland is doing politically. They had an independence referendum and didn't opt for it, but when the General Elections come round, they all vote SNP. Who are the Scots who vote SNP yet don't want independence? That seems like voting UKIP but not wanting to leave the EU.

People from all walks of life voted leave, some hate foreigners, that's a given but some have far loftier ideals/understanding/reasons. Clearly a lot of people don't agree with them, certainly i can't see why it was worth all this fuss, but i do find the attitude that it was only the intellectually challenged that accounts for 52% abhorrent.

Really hope May hangs on. It’s like when Wrexham have a crap manager and you’re hoping they won’t sack him! We need a General Election with a May-led Conservative Party ASAP. Why do I feel that the flip side to that analogy is that Corbyn is like McCarthy? Not going to say the reasons as I never ever give Wrexham credit. We're in deep sh1t. The Tories are a laughing stock and Corbyn is unfit to be Prime Minister. Where do we go from here?

Why does it automatically become misogyny just because it's aimed at a female? Interesting article about that question. www.independent.co.uk/voices/stupid-woman-jeremy-corbyn-theresa-may-sexism-pmq-men-a8690861.htmlDon’t totally agree with her, and I’ve heard women say ‘stupid man’ many times, but there are some decent points within it. Especially that certain people who don’t actually give a shit about women’s rights (cough: Piers Morgan) are now suddenly pretending they do. Not his finest moment if that was what he said. The main point for me is that the climate of the House of Commons needs to change. There’s way too much heckling and yah-booing and it’s really unattractive to watch. Yesterday, an SNP MP was told by a Tory MP to ‘go back to Skye’ before he’d even spoken a word. If they can’t have an adult debate, there are times when tensions will spill over and people will say things they didn’t mean.
