Said it before but English white nationalist Brexit will be the ending of the Union. That will be Johnson’s legacy. Enforcing the flying of the Union Jack in Wales and Scotland will have the opposite effect he thinks it’ll have, it’ll breed contempt. is there something wrong with being English and white and a brexit supporter. I don't think implying you're "proud to be white" is a great look, to be honest. |

Well just catching up after having some sleep, i would suggest a lot of posters on here do the same.
The thread title is about Brexit, i can appreciate that it has morphed into a much more wider political thread, but please lets keep general mudslinging to zero. A couple of reports of racism from a couple of users, i have let them lie as i honestly don't think they were intentional, just could have chosen their words more wisely.
Its a nice sunny day today, go out, get some fresh air if you can and breath in, clear your minds and then if you come back on here, lets try and be kind to each other.
Believe it or not we are all on here as we support the same football team.

They're Royal Navy ships that have regularly been used by the fisheries commission apparently that have been sent there no doubt to monitor the situation. They obviously have weapons on them as they are Royal Navy boats but until they start firing at the fishing boats I hardly think you can say we've declared war on France. Let's not get too carried away eh? |

I’m old enough to remember Priti Patel threatening the Irish with food shortages during the back stop negotiations, so it’s nauseating hypocrisy for flag shaggers to claim any sort of moral high ground. |

If the French choose to cut off the electricity to Jersey then isn't that just one of the many issues our government needs to deal with in the spirit of "taking back our sovereignty" and all that? Looking after own crown dependencies, did anyone think about that? Probably not. In other words, I don't care what France is doing. Our government promised us a cool and groovy Brexit. They need to find a way to make it work, and that's a task I don't envy them for. |
