Couple of years from now (maybe less), voting Leave will be like wearing flared trousers or being a Jimmy Saville fan; people will not admit to it.

Bet the Brexiters are FOAMING at our Emma’s historic US Open win.
Of course they’re not, the fascist Government, fascist Farage and the fascist Daily Mail are all crowing. Ironic.

Complaining when people are racist and complaining when they’re not. Try and just be happy about something for a change, instead of always trying to stir the trouble that you’re decrying.

[br Fascist farage who has saved people in the English Channel from drowning Yes immigrants How many have you saved A publicity stunt that only Breitbart and the Spectator seem to have taken as true. He also vilified the RNLI for saving immigrants which prompted a load of knuckleheads to heckle and throw stones at them, so that could just as easily have cost lives. I know it's miserable being from Wrexham but please don't fall for his shite.

For your info Farage went round hotels housing the homeless and victims of war torn countries in Cheshire with henchmen intimidatiing them. Lovely bloke and no doubt he has your vote.

That promised US trade deal looks dead in the water. Pattern emerging here lads. Just seen that. Serves us right to be honest. I’d love to hear an honest assessment from some of the Vote Leave brigade on here. The whole thing appears to be unraveling at a frightening pace, so how do they explain it? Is it the policy of Brexit itself or the Tories’ delivery of it? Or is it the fault of Remoaners for not believing in Brexit enough? Genuinely interested to hear the views from the other side of the political divide.

Just read a report on Sky saying that within days, poultry, pork and bakery products are going to dry up. Tesco have reported that shortages before Christmas will be worse than when the pandemic first struck and BP are closing petrol stations because of a lack of drivers, not helped by the government refusing to allow EU drivers to work here!

Been round a couple of supermarkets today and the shelves do look depleted - not drastically so but enough to suggest a problem. Shops don't half-fill their shelves unless something's not right.
As I've alluded to a few times on this thread, it reminds me of being in Ireland just after the recession. A lot of gaps on the shelves and some crazy prices for packaged crap.

Just driven past a couple of petrol stations and there are definitely queues developing. I imagine it’s the same people who voted for this shit show who are now creating a problem that shouldn’t really exist. Stupid does as stupid is.

I think that's because everyone is still so tribal about the whole thing. Businesses certainly are reluctant to blame it as they risk upsetting half their customers - especially since many Brexiters are quite sensitive and easily annoyed.
The whole thing is toxic. I actually don't think leaving the EU needed to be a disaster if managed responsibly, but it's created societal problems as well as economic ones. All it's done is got ordinary people mad at each other over an issue they weren't that bothered about six oor seven years ago, and got working class people to vote Tory.

Still waiting for a response from Leave voters. Are the problems we are experiencing a strategic one (Brexit was a bad idea) or is it tactical (the Tories’ delivery of it). Would love to know their thoughts, if they have any that is.

Just picking out the issues that Frank has posted above here - Tax Rises - We know why this was brought it, and i think everyone can agree it was well needed to actually provide more money for our NHS and care sector - not sure how this is Brexit related? Not having items of food on the shelves and the shortage of petrol is predominately down to the lack of HGV drivers. Slam dunk a Brexit issue, certainly made worse by the government and the apparent refusal to add the occupation to the shortage list - I can imagine a lot of people would be wanting to come over and get nearly £20 an hour! The whole thing on gas price rises isn't a Brexit issue IMO. This is a global thing and the EU is suffering too - I read this article this morning which does give an idea of the price across the board - www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-58650634 From my understanding, the gas issue also is affecting the food supply with the CO2 business, though I have no idea if this would have been better if we were still in the EU? Trade Deals - This is the biggy, the whole, we can trade with anyone for free thing that I think a lot of people thought was a good idea, and it certainly is. The issue, is other countries aren't that interested in it - Slightly tricky to blame Brexit for as I certainly haven't felt any negative effects because we don't have a trade agreement, not sure if others have? The lack of HGV drivers is the massive issue right now and definitely down to Brexit - Apart from the lack of trade deals though, i'm not sure anything else can really be blamed on it, unless i'm just living a very sheltered life.

Most EU countries have 90 days worth of gas stored which mitigates against price volatility. The U.K. has roughly 3 days as the Government adopted a ‘just in time’ approach.

I did see that, but then the prices in Poland, Spain & Italy are all being reported as climbing in price as quickly as ours We have this new underground line opening October 1st from Norway, so hopefully only a temporary thing.
