Yet the 200 people Farage spoke to in a pub car park are the “majority” and these virgin-organised “go slow” protests on major motorways last night were pathetic.

What are they using mobility scooters? I was on the demonstration, in London. It was massive. Clearly, when May speaks for the people. She clearly doesnt speak for me or the 1 to 2 million on the London march or the 4 million on the online petition. Maybe she speaks for the 200, in the pub carpark?

All 8 defeated. I think the second referendum option was defeated the least heavily but defeated nevertheless. I worry that tonight now makes her deal much more likely to pass.

Said all along that Labour have failed to capitalise on this Tory meltdown, only the fanatical die hards can't see that and they're as stubborn as May on the other side.

Not sure how it fared against Labours plan though?

Said all along that Labour have failed to capitalise on this Tory meltdown, only the fanatical die hards can't see that and they're as stubborn as May on the other side. I’d say actually Labour get criticised by pretty much everyone, either because they don’t like Corbyn, or because they do like Corbyn are upset at how the rest of the party treat him. UK politics isn’t working because we have two big parties that are both completely divided. We need both to split and to have four parties representing the left, centre-left, centre-right and right. You could personify them as Corbyn, Blair, Cameron and Boris. Over time, maybe the Corbyns could merge with the Greens, the Borises with UKIP, and the Lib Dems could filter into the two centre ones.

So Jeremy Corbyn will have seen off two Conservative Prime Ministers, taken away a Tory majority, defeated a finance bill for the first time in 41 years and helped lead the largest defeat against the government ever.
But still some will say this is not ‘effective opposition’...

Actually, you made the right choice. May's terrible deal needs to be voted down, giving her a stake through the heart. MPs need to re-vote 9n Monday, on the 2 motions with the most suport a customs union and a confirmatory referendum. ( With remain on the paper) The 47 Labour MPs who either abstained or voted against, these motions need to think hard about giving any assistence to the Tories, because the next stage of negiotatiions, if her deal is passed, is likely to be conducted by a hardlune brexiteer.

I wonder why they are celebrating. Certainly not because they like us. Germany and France want to rule Europe. Germany have tried twice and the French just hold their hands up. If anybody thinks we will be treated fairly by this lot. Think again
