Show me the fact that it was an advisory referendum. Still not answered the question. I’ve just answered it, what do want me to do, draw a picture in wax crayon alongside it? And just Google EU Referendum, it was never legally binding.

And all this ‘Will of the People’ bollocks is really dangerous and sets us on a path towards fascism. Ridiculous. The Nazis were full of this ‘Will of the People’ nonsense. I recommend studying a bit of history.

Do not mention will of the people you did, why won't you answer the question I guess it would stick in your throat to agree.

You are rather insulting liken me to a nazi think I need to have things explained with crayons, maybe you were not on the mailing list when the leaflet was sent to every household stating, once in a lifetime vote we will honour your decision but nowhere does it say, this is purely advisory.

Once again abuse why can you not debate without name calling. Your answer was evasive neither yes or no. You should be an m p. I am not trying to influence you as I have said on numerous occasions, but even you must see if the pattern of voting is repeated in a g, e a lot of people will be voted out. From all parties

A GE encompasses a whole manner of issues - anybody who votes in a GE based on a Party’s stance on ONE issue/policy doesn’t deserve the right to vote.

Unfortunately people vote for a variety of reasons. I have heard I can't vote for him he's so boring or she's got no personality. Afraid that's the nature of the beast

I don't watch much Saturday night TV, but am I right in thinking that for programmes like the X Factor and Strictly, the judges decide which of the two contestants who got the fewest votes is eliminated? In other words, it's not a direct democracy?
So if the judges don't eliminate the one the public voted for least, are they accused of defying the will of the people? Or do we accept that their expertise on the subject leaves them well placed to make a professional judgment based on the general public's advice?

The LibDems just refused to support giving 16/17 year olds the vote
In addition to their refusal to support the bill stopping NHS Privatisation (let alone the other things they've done in the recent past - tuition fees etc). Why on earth do they call themselves “Progressive” as they dont support any progressive causes? What purpose do they serve other than to prop up the Tories just to get their bums on the back seats of ministerial cars? Joke party. Centrism is dead.

After weeks of falsely claiming that Labour are running scared of a GE (when all Labour wanted to do was get No Deal off the table before accepting the GE), it’s now the ruling party who are chickening out of a GE if 16 and 17 year olds are allowed to vote. Couldn’t make it up.

If some Northern ponce with a Blue, Red, Yellow, Purple or Green rosette comes round my gaff in the next few weeks they’ll get a proper Millwall welcome. They’re not fit for purpose. I’m voting Theo Paphitis.

Tory MP Tobias Elwood (of course he’s a Tory with that name), has just said 16/17 year-olds shouldn’t be able to vote because they would overwhelmingly vote for Labour.
Democracy in action that, isn’t it.
In case you didn’t know, 15 year olds were able to vote for Boris Johnson to become leader of the CONservatives...
