Disappointing from Hannah but he is one of the players that comes across as he DOES care.

Hannah hasn't been good enough all season and is living off the back of his performances for us two seasons ago. He will be on a fat wage thanks to JM's generosity and yet his attitude, at times, has stunk the place out. Not running the channels, giving up on balls played into him and generally looking disinterested unless he has the ball into feet in the box - and even then he is prone to missing a sitter. Does anyone know if he's actually attending training full time? Rumours circulated at the beginning of the season that he was dropping in as and when he could. Now you lot know why Keates wouldn’t sign him. Don’t believe the bollocks of Hannah turning us down , Keates didn’t want him after speaking to him. His attitude was shocking.

Hannah is one of the few who I don't question his commitment. To my eyes, he works his socks off with dreadful service. It's not great at all saying something like that though, and he should issue an apology so we can all move on and pull together for what is going to be a crucial few games.

If what I’m reading on here is correct Hannah needs to be disciplined, and probably sacked. We can’t have players swearing at kids. Most people who did similar at work would be sacked. We can’t have this behaviour at a community club. This has made me realise what the problem is.
Let’s stop clinging on by the fingernails with players who don’t care. Take the relegation and rebuild ourselves based on our ethos. Journeymen players are killing the club. The fans are disconnected from it. Sarcevic understood it. Wilde did as well. And Howard. And countless others who proudly wore the shirt since 2010.
The truth of it is there’s maybe only ten of this squad that are genuinely proud to pull on the shirt. The rest of them are poisoning the club.

Yeah, I feel pretty similar. Strikers have been feeding off scraps for a while now and can understand that they feel frustrated. Can’t defend Hannah letting one off like that, especially to someone of that age group but in a bit of a perverse way it’s understandable. Maybe it’s just me though, I don’t tend to get particularly outraged by stuff like that. To expand on my point earlier in the thread, I just know that we’re struggling and accept the fact that each now and then we are going to throw in a really crap performance, surely it’s to be expected by now. Seen them before and will see them again. I think we’ve made some progress in the past week or two and I’m really loathed to get stuck in and slaughter them and shatter their confidence any more. Trying to see the bigger picture.

Are you on gear mate,3 or 4 tops, the rest are their for a wage,I'll reiterate what I said, if Hannah has swore at a kid that's gobbed off then it's out of order but to me it shows he cares about our plight, he's a striker not really getting the required service atm so it's obvious his emotions are gonna boil over, end of the day he's human.

It's quite clear you and blue4eva won't agree on anything, that's fine. But it's getting a bit tiresome spending my day reffing the squabbles between you both. If he winds you up that much just ignore him. I don't agree with him, but are you seriously suggesting I ban him for being negative and posting when we lose? It's ok, knowing that you don't agree with him is fine. I don't know anyone that does, maybe he needs his own forum... Perhaps it would help if you disagreed with other people in a more acceptable way? You don't HAVE to be offensive all the time, surely?

Hannah is a fantastic player on his day and he is at least one of the players who cares, but he should know better not to say stuff like that. If it’s his emotions then that’s a little understandable, although it wasn’t a nice sight which is basically my point.

This result and the Kidderminster result just underline how hard we’ll find it if we go down a league - rather than an opportunity to regroup it’ll be out of the frying pan and into the fire.

And we're stuck with that gob shite for another season. Literally sucking the club dry those players on two year contracts. I almost give up asking... who gave those contracts, who oversees those people, who reviews them etc etc The Board. It is banging on constantly with negativity to some, but its connecting the dots to me. Blame the players for signing a 2 year deal? No, blame those who sign them off and shun responsibility via half arsed statements. Ah, good old hindsight..... Whenever a player does well for us and leaves, someone has to get the blame for not having them on a 25 year contract but whenever someone doesn't do well for us, there needs to be someone to blame for ever signing then in the first place. Of course you know all of this in advance, you should be on the board.... hell with your foresight you should be managing Barcelona...

Trying to see the bigger picture. Normally agree with you Anders but not on Hannah. Accepting that the service he gets is poor, I Just don't think he offers enough. Yes he runs the channels but that's about it. No physical presence, no holding the ball up, no headers won and no link up play with other forwards. When he missed his big chance yesterday he just stood there instead of looking for the follow up. Similar situation against Fylde in the week - he hit the keeper when clean through but we were fortunate White was in the right place. It was an easy game for their defence yesterday. You never get the sense that he is going to produce a bit of magic or create so something out of nothing. I expect he will be on the bench next week and we will revert to Akintunde and White. It's maybe time to throw Mahon in at home ..was our only player who caused them a few problems. Shame his delivery is so average.

Regarding Hannah swearing, Rio can you enlighten us as to what the 14 year old said? I know many 14 year olds who look in their 20s so maybe he should have asked for his ID first (Sarc). In my job I am often spoken to like shit because "We pay your wages" however when I retort with "would you speak like that to me if you just met me in the street" they very quickly jog on. The point I make is, it doesn't matter how far you travel, how much it costs, how much better than the other person you think you are, how much more eloquent you can write (on here esp!!) if you give it then be prepared to have it back. I understand that Ross has already apologised and offered to buy lad and dad a pint at next match.

Tend to agree with Anders that we need to just take it and move on. We have a right to be angry and disappointed, but we all know this team is very limited in ability and low on confidence.
It's still possible we could stay up. We're a poor side but it's a pretty poor division. No doubt there will be more poor results and performances between now and the end of the season, but when they happen we just have to move on. The team is capable of sneaking results and if they sneak enough, you never know.

I'm not sure there's any need to put a slur on the lad like that. It's hardly relevant. He gave up his time to be there and shouldn't be sworn at by a professional footballer. However, it sounds like the two parties supposedly involved have made efforts to repair relationships. If they can sort it out between them, I don't really see any need for the rest of us to get worked up about this. Things get said in the heat of a moment.
