I have a feeling we'll see a good response from the boys tomorrow. Last week was a bit of an 'in your shell' performance, perhaps a reaction to the unlucky defeat at Dagenham and them feeling a bit sorry for themselves. They'll know last week wasn't good enough and will want to prove a point.

Dont they have a 3/4G pitch? Not sure if that will affect us too much as most teams train on these nowadays. Will take a 1-1 (Shaw pen)

3 - 4 to the blues on a 3/4 G pitch with No3 Evan Horwood and No4 Luke George scoring 4 goals between them on the 3/4 G pitch Just checking the odds on betfair.

3-1 to the blues. Alibi hat trick :-) Who has the most often misspelt name at CFC? Riot the ballboy or James Alibi the striker? Oh, by the way 3-1 City. 2 from Alibi - 1 from Kanye "Riot" Richards.

Maidstone have plummeted recently, but I guess you could say that our form hasn't been great recently either. You could put this in the "must-win" category, but I don't think we will. I am, however, happy to get a point from away games, especially against teams who are scrapping it out at the bottom (thankfully, we don't come into that bracket this season!) so I'm going to predict a 1-1 draw here. Chester goalscorer? Tom Shaw.

Players travelling at 7am tomorrow morning on coach, can we not look at the option of train, the likes of Bromley and Braintree have done similar when travelling to us.
I think this will be tough. No hunt and Vassell.
I would take a point to stop the rot.

Providing we play Hughes and Astles together we have a good chance of not letting the opposition score 2 or 3 goals. I would expect Lynch to go back in goal also as ultimately both keepers are good, its just a case of the old switcheroo if ones has an off game. Oh and please let Mahon be fit for this one, its amazing how we miss his ability to keep the pressure off the defence and give us a boost upfront when fit and on form. If all the above happens.... 2-1 to the good guys !

At the moment, in terms of how we play, our only consistency is our inconsistency so it depends on which team turns up
I'm hoping for a strong reaction from both Macca and the team to last week's performance so going for a 2-1 WIN

We should win, we need to win. This is usually a recipe for disaster when it comes to Chester FC but Macca'a teams are different so I'm hopeful today.
