It has certainly been another busy week as a Chester FC supporter with lots going on. However, we have another match to endure tomorrow as we play Boreham Wood away in Hertfordshire. Obviously we have nothing to play for now as we are down, but it would be good to see another spirited performance like on Tuesday. Personally I have a strong dislike towards Boring Wood. They have a bad ground, charge for media coverage, the stewarding is poor and they have no fans, although they are 6th in the league. My dislike towards them grew even more on Wednesday afternoon. Their manager was constantly ‘effing and blinding’ towards us loyal fans and to the linesman. At the end they started that mass brawl too. However, they got what they deserved in the end as they got thrashed 4-1 by our brilliant youth players. Fair play to them though, they have done well this season and look a solid team.
I’m looking forward to seeing Calum McIntyre in charge tomorrow. Whilst I would like him to be focusing on the academy, I still wish him all the best in these remaining few games.
I will be there tomorrow as it may be our last Southern away game for a year or 2 at least. Whilst Boreham Wood isn’t the nicest place for it to end, I am stopping over tomorrow night.
It will be nice to see our players put in another good performance tomorrow as the pressure won’t be on them. Up The Seals! Score: Boreham Wood 1-0 Chester FC Attendance: 572 (113 Chester) COYB!

Have a good trip, Rio. I hope Boreham Stiff are not going to charge you for taking pics. Looking forward to the blues grabbing 3 points.

At every other Ground I’ve been to the stewards didn’t have any problems, but Boredom Wood may be different. Hopefully not.

We'll win the next 3 games and the expert in the FWG will offer CM a 3 year contract.

After this week from hell can only sadly see a bit of a pasting. Feel a bit for the die hards who will be there . . . including a gent in from of us on the Harry Mac who hasn't missed a game anywhere all season. Hope the players give it a go for young Calum.

If you didn’t see my thread earlier and you’re planning to listen to the commentary today, consider reimbursing the club the fee they had to pay Boreham Wood to commentate by making a donation.

How the bloody hell does Harry White still get a start over Archer?

White is on the field to lull their defense into a false sense of security

Sounds like the sort of goal you get when things are going your way.

White goes close after good work by Akintunde.
It looks like Solihull are staying up. They're 2-0 up against Guiseley.

Every time I see Harry White start ahead of Archer a small part of me dies. One of the worst players since reformation,

Played well but find ourselves 2-0 down with two unfortunate goals conceded. How many times have we heard that this season? Playing some football at least.
Archer on for White ASAP please.

As it stands it's between Woking and Barrow for the last relegation place.

Definitely, a Club currently in the North less north to us will be booted out to the South. Over the last few years I'm sure this has happened to Solihull.

I had a vague recollection of nobody wanting Lowestoft a few years ago (and who would). They ended up in the Conference North due to geographical split, but now play in the Isthmian League.

It's possible Wrexham could bottle the play offs before even getting into the play offs! teams around them have games in hand too.
