To those that have been before what’s the area like? I’m debating where to park that I can leave my car and not go back to a chassis.

I think the league went with 23 teams that season, so no-one missed out. Spot on. one club had a free Saturday/midweek every round of fixtures. We were the first to miss one, which is why we played Warrington away as our first fixture. Had a look and only Leigh Genesis actually got relegated that season. Ossett Albion finished second last but got a reprieve as there weren’t enough teams able to come up. Speaking of which, I notice the two Ossett teams have merged this season to form Ossett United. Always thought it was surprising for a small town like that to have two decent non-League teams.

In which case he must've have said yes back then! I think most teams were quite happy about it given the numbers we took away that year!

Will we be behind the goal tonight? Can’t remember if it’s got a roof or not on the away stand ? Hope so creates a far better atmosphere

Hope so creates a far better atmosphere It depends if it’s segregated or not, but if it is then I think that we’ll have access to the covered terrace and the West Terrace (open) which is behind one of the goals.

York were in the side stand which spans about a third of the pitch in the middle but it’s higher than the Harry Mac. Can have a few hundred in there.

Bet he wasn't too fussy about the extra revenue he made from us that night

Sadly I won’t make it tonight as first day back st work following hols. There isn’t enough time for the drive up finishing work at 5 pm from Solihull. Never make it with traffic. Enjoy the game

A steady 1-1 draw for me, plenty more positives coming from the match, but won't quite have enough to beat a decent side who have plenty of experience now at this level. 350 super blues in attendance

Only got to about 4 or 5 away games last season, but there’ll be 3 of us there tonight. Got a feeling we will take over 500 and give the lads a home away from home. See us winning this 3-0.

It's Monday night so i'm not sure there'll be over 500 of us like some have suggested, but i could be surprised.
Good win for them away to Darlo in the season opener. They'll be even stronger at home, so this could be a tough one. 2-1 curzon.

A fair amount of free parking at the ground for anyone wondering where to park.

2-0 Chester. Tuton and Roberts with the goals. Probably won’t get an away figure but going for 500 odd. Seals!

An unchanged team but slightly different shirt numbers which could imply a formation change to 442 - Smalley is 2 and Grand is 3 (full-backs in a four?) with Mooney now 7 and Pritchard now 11.
