We play the second of 4 rearranged fixtures tomorrow evening as we host high-flying Kidderminster Harriers at the Swansway. We picked up a fantastic result at Boston on Saturday and will be hoping to extend our unbeaten run to 5 matches. This will be a difficult game though, as Kiddy are 2nd and are yet to lose this season. However, if we can play like we did in the second half at Boston, we will have every chance of picking up another positive result.
It’s important that we don’t get too ahead of ourselves just yet, but a win tomorrow could see us climb into the play-off places. Hopefully we will manage to attract another healthy attendance, especially with over 2,000 attending last Tuesday’s game.
Kidderminster Harriers will be arriving from Worcestershire having made a strong start to the season, as was expected. At the moment Chorley are running away with it, but the Harriers are giving it a good go with them still unbeaten. They are a club who have been stuck in this league for a few years, just like Stockport, so hopefully we won’t fall into that category. This will be another tough game for us but as I said before, if we can play to the standards as we did at Boston then we will have a great chance.
Things are looking up for us now which is why I’m looking forward to this match. We are beginning to find our feet in this league with us currently undergoing a good run of form. I’d expect another healthy turnout tomorrow so we must keep giving our players our support, especially Dom Smalley who had a fantastic game on Saturday. It’s quite evident that he plays much better when people don’t give him stick during games. A bigger crowd will be expected so those people must give the lad a chance. Hopefully we will make it 5 games unbeaten and possibly jump into the play-offs at the same time. Come On City! Score: Chester FC (Jordan) 1-1 Kidderminster Harriers Attendance: 1,894 (116 Kidderminster Harriers) COYB!

I think we will keep it tight and win this 5 - 0. Dangerous Dan to get a quick fire hat-trick. One of the Centre Backs to score off a corner and Dudders to seal the deal.
2250 attendance with 10% of the crowd heading to Cruise after the game to hear Cleggy's "Indie Disco" with Chris Piercy doing a "Bez" until the early hours.

Tonight is our toughest fixture of the season so far against one of only two unbeaten sides in the league on the back of a thumping away win at York. I know we've started to hit a good run of form too but I think we'll do well to get a draw tonight. I'm looking forward to seeing Kane Richards, who will forever be held in legendary regard for scoring the winning goal against the Scum, but hopefully he won't have much say tonight.
I'm going for a 1-1 draw with 1,656 in attendance.

I imagine Kiddy will be looking at our recent form with the anticipation of a tough game as well.
Clearly they start as favourites but we should be more than capable of causing them problems tonight.
Not having McCarthy in charge gives us a big advantage compared to when we last met.

Shame he didn't say anything of note with his feet during his spell here.

Was looking forward to this but damaged cruciate ligaments last night so now cannot attend. Spare season ticket available for use if anyone wants it for tonight?

A real low point that day.

We need to follow up a good away result with a good home result. That hasn't happened much lately.
1-0 Chester Dudley 2001 with 350 from Kiddy.
