'Bangor City have been hit with a transfer embargo in the latest blow for the beleaguered football club. Ian Gwyn-Hughes, head of public affairs at the FAW, also confirmed that a “disciplinary investigation is currently on going regarding other matters”, which are the subject of additional investigations regarding matters that “cannot be stated at this time”. - www.dailypost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bangor-city-fc-hit-transfer-16287763

Surely only a matter of time until the Vaughan’s strangle the life out of yet another football club.

Shame there isn't a list of e-mail addresses for every single club chairman in the UK so they can be told to beware of "strangers bearing gifts"! These vermin need exterminating (legally, of course!!)

Surely only a matter of time until the Vaughan’s strangle the life out of yet another football club. Couple more twists to the Vaughan/Bangor saga to come before that happens I think. This is what really annoys me. The fans of a club have no say in them coming in and cannot do a thing to stop it either. These leeches don't let go until there is nothing left and a club is dead. No matter what you do you cannot get rid of them, they won't go and more to the point the fans cannot do anything to stop it. These are not the sort of people who will just stand back and let the fans 'object'. They have 'allies' in the crowd who listen to what's being said and are not adverse to giving people a dig to shut you up. At the end of the day these people are gangsters who take what they want when they want to. Noticed that the Bangor fans are starting their own club (rings a bell) because this is the only way to get rid of them. It really pisses me off when we have to listen to the goats saying ''we let our club die'' really annoying because no matter what you do they just won't go!! What the goats don't take into account is the fact that IF they had gone to Wrexham instead of here it would have been THEM and not us who ''let their club die'' But i digress; I feel for Bangors fans because it's hard watching your club bleed to death and having no power to do anything about it

They’re paying players who don’t get a game £1,500 a week. It will bite them on the arse eventually.

A scarier thought is that SV’s 10 year ban from being a company director ends next year!

42 points, even more than he managed to leave us with.
Maybe it would be nice if we played the new Bangor preseason if they get it set up in time.

Double relegation. They’ve been demoted from two successive leagues now - soon to be lining up against Penrhyndeudraeth in Tier 3 just two years from preparing for a Europa League fixture against Lyngby of Denmark. Runners up in the top flight just two seasons ago. Sorry state of affairs.

Crisis? what crisis?
Bangor City Football Club is delighted to confirm the appointment of Max Leghissa.
'The Trieste native, who left Mosta FC as technical director recently, has joined the club in the same position. Leghissa had four years at the Milan academy, was the marketing director at Udinese for the same amount of time and spent time at Casarano, Gallipoli, Pordenone, Mezzocorona while also spending two years in Sweden at Syrianska from 2014 to 2016'. “Having worked with Max for a short spell at Mosta, I know the level of professionalism he can bring to the football club,” chairman Stephen Vaughan Jr. said of Leghissa’s appointment. “The players he brought to Mosta, by using his contacts around Europe, was a big part of the turnaround during the season when I was there. I look forward to working with him here at Bangor as we strive to bring quality players and a professional mindset to the club on and off the pitch.”

He might be in for a bit of a shock when he visits Llanrug United and Bodedern Athletic. No turnstiles,no entry fee, and sometimes in this league no gents, linesmen and unrecognisable pitch markings.

Rio has just completed “Twitter” with a proper direct pop at the Ribena Berry. Best Tweet I’ve seen in ages! The club should put him in charge of social media for next season.

That recommendation reminds me of Mad Terry's Wikipedia page.

I have to admire his courage - not sure about his wisdom! Bern, Johno, Stopforth and the rest of Oasis have got his back. There will be one Chester fan in particular looking down from above approving of that Tweet. That "Italian" bloke (he's probably from Huyton or Wigan) looks very much like Graham Barrow with a goatee. Is it him?

Despite demotion to the third tier of the Welsh pyramid and being placed under a transfer embargo, Bangor appear to be carrying on as normal...
Bangor City Football Club is delighted to confirm its first summer signing. Massimo Sammartino arrives at the Eurogold Stadium having agreed terms to join from Mosta FC in Malta. The 23-year-old Italian is a left-back, though he can play left midfield, and has previously played at AS Roma both at senior and youth level. “Massimo is a very strong, extremely fit player and can play left back, right back and central midfield,” said club chairman Stephen Vaughan Jr. on the first signing of the summer. “He grew up through the Roma academy so has great grounding from that and was Mr Reliable during my time at Mosta. “I look forward to working with Massimo again and it’s great to have him on board.” The transfer is subject to approval from the Football Association of Wales and will be completed upon the opening of the FAW registrations window.
Bangor City has moved quickly to secure a second summer signing. The club has agreed a deal to sign Pavel Vieira who had previously played at Airbus Broughton UK. The 27-year-old, a full Guinea-Bissau international with one cap in a World Cup Qualifying game. "Pav is a strong midfield player who had a brief spell with us before," said the club chairman Stephen Vaughan Jr. on the latest recruit. "He is tough tackling and good on the ball, but we need to get him fit in pre-season and get him back to playing regular first-team football. "Once he is fit and playing regularly, he will be a good player for us during the next campaign." The transfer is subject to approval from the Football Association of Wales and will be completed upon the opening of the FAW registrations window.
