Didn't sound a great game, but a valuable three points. I think we needed the win today really, not sure a point would've been good enough after our recent results.
Yet another game decided after the 85th minute, but the right way this time!

Great win, we had to stop the run somehow and I'm made up we've won today. I wonder what the moaners will have to moan about tonight, says it all if this thread is 3 pages long. GET IN!

Delighted to get a win, although it was far from a great performance. Two poor teams on a dodgy pitch.
Must say I thought Kane had a good game, worked hard and no whining

Great stuff. The Hughes and Astles combo doing the business again against a very dangerous pair of strikers.

A great win yes and a much needed three points both for the table and for some confidence. Clean sheet as well. Doesn't mean we should all start wearing rose tinted spectacles though. I'm not going to be moaning tonight (do i fall into the moaners brigade??? I'd love to know - sometimes I think realism is confused with moaning.) but it doesn't mean all our problems are solved. Bromley are another poor side and we have alot to do yet. However as far as today goes you can't do more than a clean sheet and an away win so well played the lads and all the blues who went to watch.

Does this mean Perm will be back already? I said I would when we won and I'm absolutely delighted and already looking forward to the next 2 games. Just noticed also that we're only 5 points behind our near neighbours with 2 games in hand. Happy days indeed.

Whilst this result is hugely welcome, and i'm sure a massive relief to most, lets not get too carried away. The record since 1st Jan now reads 3 won, 1 draw and 9 defeats. Hardly inspiring stuff, and although our minor relegation fears should surely have gone, the real concerns for next season have certainly not.

On behalf of Jon and the boys can I just say " welcome back Perm" ! Your biting tone and acidic wit has been sorely missed these last few days. Personally, I'm just pleased the win will get a few people 'off' ' the teams back - for a few hours at least. COYB

Great 3 points and much needed performance from the lads. I've had my doubts about Durrell, still do, but he can grab a goal for sure. Richards hard working nice to see that response from a player heavily criticised. Onwards and upwards!
To add...I can't believe someone on here was questioning Lynch a couple of weeks back, best keeper we've had in years.

Hardly inspiring stuff, and although our minor relegation fears should surely have gone, the real concerns for next season have certainly not. We also shouldn't forget that Macca has been working with a much reduced squad for the period. Mahon, Akintunde, Killock, Chappell, George and Vassell were injured for long stretches. He's also looking to next season with Dawson and Davies to see if they fit the bill. Personally I think trying to move on to full year contracts would be of benefit, late goals concede indicate tiredness affecting concentration. A better build up of fitness during the break would help the players last the season in competition with full time sides.
